Austin's Best Choice for Auto Repair

My brakes locked up on my truck and I couldnt figure it out why. Took it to these guys and within 10 minutes they found and fixed the problem at no charge. Turned out to be a vacuum leak. Great customer service! thanks!!

Let me start this off by saying I dont typically write reviews. With that being said I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with austin automotive specialists here in lakeway. I usually take my vehicle's to the dealer for any services or repairs. I decided to give them a shot and boy was i glad I did!! They were very informative and upfront and honest with the services they reccomend I have done and the ones I can wait on. They had my veichle in and out in a appropriate amount of time and kept me informed along the way. With all that being said Austin automotive specialist will be the only place I will be taking my vehicles from now and my company trucks.

Revisited Recently. New management in place. Very nice. Got a warranty repair on one of my cars and went over and above to make it right. Took in another car and they did a great job with the repair. I feel good again about using this location.

I've been working with Jim for my automotive needs for years now. Completely honest, down to earth dude. No crooked business and won't sell you anything you don't need!

Jim Anders was straight forward and honest about what my vehicle needed. He got me back on the road sooner than promised and didn't break the bank with stuff I didn't need. Bring your car to Jim at AAS...you will be in good hands!

To that one star review: I was actually there when he came in. He came in a month after service complaining about how much he paid. He was super rude to the manager and Jim was very professional in handling the matter. Explained every detail of the charges. For my 5 star review: Again Jim was amazing to do with and super friendly. Explained each line item of the cost and even helped me out bc I forgot my coupon. Price is in line with market costs. I will definately be back for my automotive needs!

I wish that all the other places I have been to since I have lived in Austin would have treated me the way that Austin Automotive Specialists treated me last week! I have found my place in Lakeway! I was greeted kindly, given a quote quickly, and told how long it would take. All very important for this busy person. I also felt that the pricing was fair. Chris and Jim know their stuff! Thankful that I don't have to keep looking for someone that I can trust.

Jim was awesome and took care of all my automotive issues and at an exceptional price!! Building trust in this industry is tough, but Jim has mine.
