My girlfriend had her call transferred to this repair shop when she was calling about a pre-purchase inspection while car shopping. She spoke to J.T. about looking at a possible Chevy Cruze. Immediately he strongly suggests against getting a Cruze, or she would be in for a world of headaches. With his expertise, J.T. then gave us a list of other, much more reliable cars to check out as we went car shopping. So helpful! We ended up bringing him a 2014 Kia Soul. The man we met at the counter (I forget his name) confirmed that Chevy Cruze's are best avoided, saying that they are "Bad for you-- but good for us," in that they need lots of repairs. He seemed like a great guy, too. J.T. then took a look at the car we hadn't yet purchased, gave us an enthusiastic "All good!" and gave us a 10%-off discount that he never even told us about until I looked at our itemized receipt! I want to strongly impress upon the person reading this review that I would trade the last ten mechanics who've worked on my car for someone with the integrity and good-nature of J.T. at the repair shop in Leander. He's one of those "I know a guy" mechanics you want to know for life, and I'm taking my car (and my girlfriend's car) to him whenever we have to. I cannot recommend him enough.

My experience in the 4-5 times I have had work done have all been positive. I went in for my tires, and Paul reported my brakes would eventually need to be replaced. He gave a general timeline, but didn't pressure me to get it right away and I trust that he is on the level. After a basic oil change I also had a belt replaced, and when it was having growing pains he fixed it right away at no cost. Then just recently I got a flat in the new tire I bought from here, and Eddie was able to help me on a Saturday morning in under an hour for $20. That's way better than those Discount tire places, and my time there was comfortably cool and quiet. The waiting area is modest, a few cable channels and keurig coffee maker, and it's comfortable enough to chill in for a bit. Both guys are friendly, and I plan to use their services again.

Paul and his crew and awesome!! This location and the Cedar Park one are my go to guys for our service and repairs! They have the knowledge and experience to diagnose and repair your vehicle right the first time! Very well maintained so I might add. While there I noticed a gentleman mopping the shop floors and hauling out trash keeping the place looking good and making sure the techs have a clean and safe work environment! Safety is a key thing at this location especially when working on the bigger trucks like they do here. The lobby is truly great to wait in with dimmed lighting in there I've caught myself in a little cat nap from time to time! Great place to work in as well though if you need to setup your laptop or tablet. Great job guys and keep up the good work!! Highly recommend this location to anyone for their vehicle service and repair needs!
