ZERO STARS! STAY AWAY! IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR VEHICLE LEAVING WITH OTHER ISSUES! DOUG THE MANAGER IS NO HELP! My vehicle went in for sparkplugs. When I picked up my vehicle my engine light was flashing. I called and spoke with DOUG the manager. He tried telling me I need my engine replaced even after i told him I've had my vehicle diagnosed 3 different times and they told me it was my coils. (All 3 times) I asked DOUG if I can bring vehicle in so they can double check their work to make sure they didn't break anything.. He told me he would have to charge me $160 to diagnose my vehicle. On top of trying to get me to bring it back so they can replace my engine! THEY ARE AFTER YOUR MONEY! STAY AWAY IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR VEHICLE TO HAVE OTHER ISSUES!

Lorizza, you have misconstrued the facts. Your husband replaced the front bank of spark plugs and realized he did not have the ability to change the back spark plugs due to the fact the intake has to be removed to do so. When we replaced the spark plugs your husband provided, we found many things loose from his attempt. When we stated it up the check engine light was flashing and the low oil pressure light was on. We called your husband and asked how long the lights had been on. He replied 6 months. Your husband gave us inaccurate information at the start and probably tried to replace the spark plugs to fix the issues he was experiencing. We had recommended he let us do a diagnostic on the vehicle when he first came in, but he said, “I know what’s wrong with it.” We told him the additional issues would require diagnostic time which he declined. Your review has no your merit.

My alternator went bad on a day trip to Austin. My car stalled on an overpass during rush hour traffick. I got towed off the ramp, and AAA installed a new battery. I still had a warning light on so decided to stay overnight at a hotel. The hotel manager told me to go to Austin Automotive because she uses them and they are great. I checked out and got to Austin Auto about 10 am. I was prepared to rent a car in case they needed more time to work on the car. This was Saturday and they are closed on Sunday. My wife and I lost power on our cell phones the night before because we left our chargers and couldn't use the charger in the car. Mr. Hinkle looked up the rental car places and let me use his phone to call. It didn't work out because the rental company was under staffed and couldn't pick me up. Mr. Hinkle let me and wife use his phone charges in the shop, and even recommend some good restaurants close by. His staff went a couple of extra miles for me and my wife, and to my surprise were able to get me out of the shop about 3 pm. I will never forget how kind the staff was to me and wife, and more importantly how excellent their work is there. Thank you Austin Automotive. You are greatly appreciated.

Mr. Hinkle and his staff absolutely rolled out the carpet for my wife and I. They let us use their phone, cell phone chargers, and even recommended some restaurants in the area while they replaced my alternator. They got us out way before my expectations with quality work that is out of this world. Thanks Austin Automotive Specialist!!!

Have brought an older Sprinter based RV here for multiple different issues. They've done good for us.

Thank you Ed.
