I have to say that this by far was the best experience I've ever had at a mechanic. I was in Austin for a track meet (I live roughly 4 hours away) and my car broke down. I have extended warranty coverage on my vehicle did a quick search and found this shop was not too far from where I was located. I calles them and right off Todd was very concerned and sympathetic. They were closing and we couldn't make it to them. But first thing the next morning we attempted to drive there and got so close but my car could not make it. I called them multiple times and they helped me out with finding a tow truck. Clay even went out of his way and came to us to take a look at what was going on. Unfortunately its my transmission but my car was towed to the shop and ita in good hands. They reassured me that they would start my claim, which they did. And we were able to make the track meet. They have stayed in contact with me the whole way and I can't thank them enough. If you're ever in Austin and your vehicle needs work. Check them out. Todd and Clay are great!

Been taking my vehicles here for the past 5 years. They are totally honest & dependable. I recently took my car in for a tune up. They found a problem I was aware of but hadn't addressed. Long story short, they charged me the same price as me buying the part online & doing it myself. Be sure to ask for a small Austin Automotive sticker to put somewhere on your vehicle & they give you a discount on your bill. I love this place. We have tried two or three other auto shops in the area, but we won't go anywhere else since trying Austin's Automotive Specialistss. Their prices are by far the fairest and most affordable, and they're super friendly. I've had to stay and wait on occasion, but they have free WiFi and comfy furniture, so I could still work while they fixed up my car. I really hate looking for a good auto repair shop for my fleet vehicle. That said Doug at Austin Austin Automotive specialist did a great job on my fleet car very respectfully and listen carefully at me discribe what my vehicle was doing. Once my fleet approved repairs he gave my a eta and got it all done in one day , Saturday at that and I didn't show up early either . These folks are good at what they do and I will go again if I need to Thanks again for your help. They get the job done fast and right, at a reasonable price, with zero mansplaining or upselling.

I had worn my front brakes down to nothing (bad, I know!) and needed new brakes NOW...I had no appointment, I didn't even call first -- I just drove up and told Mike, the manager, about the severe grinding. He got me in, even though they were busy, busy! They inspected my brakes, ordered the parts needed, and installed new brakes without any problems and with minimal wait. They also told me I have about six more months to go with my rear brakes. Even though I live far south from them, I will be going back to Mike and his fantastic team when it's time for the rear brakes!
