I decided to come here for an oil change after a friend recommended the business (not this particular location) and seeing all the positive reviews. I have to say this was the first and last time I will ever go there again. I made an appt online and arrived on time to have the gentleman at the counter have a confused look on his face when I told him I had an appt and had even received a confirmation text before coming. (And yes i selected the right location when making the appt). He proceeded to not say or ask me anything while typing in the computer and finally asked for the keys and said something like “have a seat”. I had a couple questions to ask and when I did he had an irritated look on his face with a half an eye roll like he was bothered. I almost said forget it never mind I’ll take my business elsewhere but I didn’t but now I know to never go there again. I even heard him griping to another coworker about how the other locations send all the oil change customers to them because they don’t want to do them. I can’t believe all the good reviews it has. Horrible customer service.

Called because I needed my battery replaced- the man on the phone seemed less than enthused. Ended up taking my car in because they were able to fix the same day. Upon checking in I was not greeted, no smiles- the same "I hate this job" attitude - this time with an estimate for me to sign. Because my car has 2 batteries and I knew that the aux battery was also probably in need of replacement I asked if they could please check that battery's health as well. Two days later my car does the stop-start at a stop light but COMPLETELY DIES. Obviously the second battery was not checked and needs to be replaced. Now it's causing strain on the main battery that I just replaced!!! In conclusion, I won't be taking my car back here nor will I recommend Austin Automotive to anyone I know. I understand you have 1 guy answering the phones and running the front desk- but maybe it's time to replace him with someone more interested in doing their job?

Had a cabin filter replaced, they went above and beyond fixed a drain hose that was plugged and leaking on my carpet. Great job and I'd recommend them highly

Russell the shop manager was very friends and very helpful. They were quick to get me in and out and honest about my tire not needing a patch. Thanks for the help and honesty

These guys are great! It was easy to schedule an appointment online. They were helpful and communicative and I didn’t get “the run around”. Definitely will be going back for future car needs.
