I went Monday to a Chevy dealer and they told me it would take 4 to 5 days to repair my AC. Austin Automotive did it in 2 1/2 hours. Great service and great people!!!

Thank you Gman

I have been going to them for a number of years. Not just for oil changes and inspections, but for mechanic work. Andy and Terrence are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Their mechanics do a great job. I recommend them to anyone for their vehicle repairs.

Thoroughly unhappy with the service I got here. Dishonest is a label I don't use lightly, but I feel scammed Would not recommend. First off when I showed up to pick up my car it was left out the open with the trunk wide open... mind you, the business off the side of a busy street. The quote they sent me had multiple items and the one which was listed as needing a repair had a price of 179.99 beside it. Specifically for coolant system leak (I spoke with the guy on the phone and made sure that was the only item I'd be getting serviced). I expected to be charged ~$300 with inspection fee and taxes. When I showed up they had a bill for me ~$600, with numbers completely disassociated with the actual quote. The guy tried to explain it to me using financial jargon...first off he didn't even want to show me the receipt until I paid (what a joke...) then I had to step behind the counter to look at the receipt. I went to JiffyLube right after for an oil change, and showed them the quote+receipt and of course they have an incentive to speak ill of their competition but they told me it made no sense. I called a mechanic I knew back in my hometown who told me this service should have costed $80-$150. Needless to say, I will never be going back to this business, and recommend you do not either.

Faraz, there must be a lot of miscommunication and understanding here. The work we performed was needed and was approved by you. The $179 you saw was for the water outlet part. the 1.6 hours of labor $257. the coolant flush $149 add in the taxes and disposal fees you get $600 not $300. There is no dishonesty on our part. There is however a lack of understanding. You stated there were multiple items listed and you apparently misunderstood the estimate.

I highly recommend for same day service when one of the first morning customers with all supplies, as it will be completed fastest with great affordable labor and professionally done within an hour for replacement of rotors and brake pad jobs.. I’ve had all types of shocks and struts work done and the work is always done correctly with proper parts provided. They know were once only a brake suspension specialist, but have expanded into other car care jobs.. That being said, they are by far, well experience at dealing with many other car care needs, provide honest prices that don’t change at checkout..

Thank you Van.

I am currently here getting my tune up as we speak, they originally quoted me $310 for my tune up and they have been very informative and helpful in getting the help I need. They said it should take and hour or so to complete. Will have an update soon! Edit: it’s has been more than an hour and they are still not done with my car. All I see if them doing maintenance on other cars.

I am sorry Melanie. I apologize for the delay. We had problems getting parts from our supplier. There are some things beyond a repair shops control. While waiting on parts we of course take care of other customers to keep things moving. most tech's work on multiple vehicles at the same time.
