I got my car towed to this shop as the car was no longer able to be driven. When I was told the initial issue and situation for my car I found it fair, after paying about 500 dollars for an AUX battery in my car as it has the auto start/stop feature. But when I got the car back for the first time the check engine light was back on and when I went back to tell them, they cleared the code and sent me on my way, I didn't feel great about it, as the permanent code was still there and it didn't go away when I ran the codes. The check engine light came back on a week later, brought it back in and they took another look at it. Found nothing wrong and sent me on my way. Another week goes by issue came back AGAIN. They checked it and couldn't find any issues. Eventually I got an appointment with the dealership they found that the battery that these people gave me was basically dead. After they replaced the new AUX battery, they found ANOTHER issue, the AUX battery relay was bad, replaced that and then the car had no more issues with the current to the battery. So after replacing the AUX battery twice and having my car down for about a month and a half due to having to take it to them about 3 times before I was told they couldn't do anything else, and then having to wait until I could get my car to the dealership and paying for more towing as it could not drive. I spent about 1300 in all for a battery and a relay... The fact that I brought it several times to this place and the issue that I was having was not fixed frustrated me to no end. All I will say is that they are professional up front but that's about all I can say about how they are. Behind that I don't trust that they can fix my cars, I will never bring them back to here or any other Austin Automotive Specialists.
We are sorry for the ordeal you had to go through. I have upgraded our technician with a more experienced one.
