I got my car towed to this shop as the car was no longer able to be driven. When I was told the initial issue and situation for my car I found it fair, after paying about 500 dollars for an AUX battery in my car as it has the auto start/stop feature. But when I got the car back for the first time the check engine light was back on and when I went back to tell them, they cleared the code and sent me on my way, I didn't feel great about it, as the permanent code was still there and it didn't go away when I ran the codes. The check engine light came back on a week later, brought it back in and they took another look at it. Found nothing wrong and sent me on my way. Another week goes by issue came back AGAIN. They checked it and couldn't find any issues. Eventually I got an appointment with the dealership they found that the battery that these people gave me was basically dead. After they replaced the new AUX battery, they found ANOTHER issue, the AUX battery relay was bad, replaced that and then the car had no more issues with the current to the battery. So after replacing the AUX battery twice and having my car down for about a month and a half due to having to take it to them about 3 times before I was told they couldn't do anything else, and then having to wait until I could get my car to the dealership and paying for more towing as it could not drive. I spent about 1300 in all for a battery and a relay... The fact that I brought it several times to this place and the issue that I was having was not fixed frustrated me to no end. All I will say is that they are professional up front but that's about all I can say about how they are. Behind that I don't trust that they can fix my cars, I will never bring them back to here or any other Austin Automotive Specialists.

We are sorry for the ordeal you had to go through. I have upgraded our technician with a more experienced one.

I've never felt more comfortable at a auto repair business. Melissa has a communication style that puts you completely at ease. She explains things clearly. I went in with a laundry list of issues. The ones that needed fixing were fixed, a hard to get part ordered and the the stuff that didn't need fixing was explained. I was told my tires and brakes were just fine and when I could expect to need to replace them. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I have been going through it the last few months. I graduated and the day after I hit a deer and totaled my car. 2 weeks before I totaled my car I got my registration which was $200. Lots of money spent after that! I bought a car from these people and I love the car it’s a 2013 Chevrolet equinox. However, they said the title was coming a week later and I just gave them $3500 then and then the other $500 when the title came. They stopped answering my calls and texts so now I have to buy a new title! Anyways, I bought it knowing the ac didn’t work but the people I bought it from said it was just a small leak and it would be like $200 to fix. I took it to Austin Automotive and they found out exactly what was wrong with it. The whole system needed to be replaced and it would be like $3500! I didn’t have that so I took it to a shop in New Braunfels somewhere that said they could replace the whole thing for $1400. It was blowing cold for about a month and then randomly one day it just started blowing hot! I took it back hoping the shop in NB could fix it and they had my car for 3 weeks so I had a hard time getting to work in Roundrock. When I got my car back they couldn’t find out what was wrong with it so they didn’t charge me but still I didn’t have my car for 3 weeks and nothing was fixed. It’s 110 degrees In Texas I can’t drive without AC. Anyways I ended up just taking it back to Austin Automotive and they found out what was wrong with it 2 HOURS AFTER I TOOK IT IN. THEN THEY SAID THEY CAN FIX IT TODAY FOR $500. I’m happy I can finally drive to work in my new car! Thank you Austin Automotive!

Thank you Faith. I sorry you have gotten such a run around
