Edited- New management reached out and discussed the issue and listened to my concerns. This was probably an isolated incident so I’ve adjusted my review. I’ve used AA Leander many times and have been happy but the last time I took a vehicle in and paid for the diagnostic fee I was told $13,0000 for a new engine. The counter guy said it’s known for engine problems etc but for the price I should scrape the car. I took to another shop and it was the ac compressor. I’ve never declined an estimate from AA so I feel that because it was a commercial vehicle that specific shop tried to pound town me. I’ve called the location and discussed the issue before this post.

They do not do state inspections

No Jonathan, we do not. Few shops do State Inspections anymore. They require a dedicated bay and an additional employee to perform them. It is no longer practical.

Took my car here and worked with Emery he was great, saved me money. If you call and get J.W. lewis ask for somebody else he double charges and messes everything up just so you know!

I tried to get an estimate for maintenance. But a guy on a phone hung up before I asked more. I won’t rely on their service if this behavior is acceptable.

Edward, we apologize for this interaction. It was the first week for our new Service Advisor and he was a little overwhelmed on the phone. We've since coached him on listening to the customer, answering the questions they have, and closing the conversation mutually.
