Austin's Best Choice for Auto Repair

I was changing my battery and dropped a rod that secures the battery in the engine bay. I couldn't find the rod and gave a call to Austin's Automotive Specialists. I drove over and they helped me fish the rod out and secure the battery. Very friendly and helpful!

My car broke down and they worked with me and the tow truck on getting it there (I was over an hour away from them). Then over the weekend I was in a car wreck and broke my arm. They worked with me on everything and held the car until I could come get it. Forrest and the rest of the crew were super friendly and I am very appreciative of them going the extra mile to help out. Would recommend this location and team!

About 8 months back I had issues with my brakes. Nissan Rogue - Manager informed that they need to resurface front rotors and change all brake pads for $610. I got that done and made a mistake of not checking the bill thoroughly and they only changed front brakes for the same amount - $610. When I realized I went back to check and they told that I am mistaken and estimate was for only front brakes. Just for reference I checked with my friend who got the same work done on his car (Honda Accord) from Kwik Kar - for all 4 rotors resurfaced and brake pads changed (Charged 700). Please ensure to take estimates in written ! Don't make the same mistake I did. I will avoid this place in future.

We were in need of servicing and Andy was able to fit us into the schedule. He was polite and communicative, not just with us, but with everyone that walked through those doors and those who called! Everyone was busy, but you could tell they had a system that worked very well. Thank you Andy and team. You guys rock and we’ll be back!

Great service real accurate on pinpointing the problem.

Service at the front counter isn’t great. I asked them to go through my car with a fine tooth comb to let me know every little thing that needs to be taken care of. Somehow they missed that I need new brakes. They tried to convince me I needed an oil change when I had just gotten one done a couple weeks prior. They will find any reason to make you pay more money for things they break. They have a good policy on their warranty.

Chris is the best and the mechanics are awesome. Honest and outstanding service. I will definitely be coming back!
