Austin's Best Choice for Auto Repair

The team at the shop were nice. Paid $600 and few days later the issue persisted. Dropped off my car again which lead to estimated repair cost greater what the the car was valued at (which didn't make sense to pay for), so was left with a broke down car and $600 less in my pocket. Plus my car suffereed hail storm damaged while at the shop which they are not covering, so include body damaged along the mechanical issue.

Just returned from Austin's Automotive Specialists in Lakeway. We used to take our cars there all the time when it was under Adam's management. After he left in 2018, things changed (not for the better), so we stopped going there. Well, the current manager, Chris, runs the place like Adam did...customer friendly, honest, no overselling. Pricing for a spark plug replacement that required the removal of the manifold was better than fair, and less than half of another area mechanic. Will be returning for our future maintenance and repair needs. Oct. 2023 Returned for a brake job and oil change six months later...same great service! Apr. 2024

I had a transmission fluid change on my Camry. Even though they had a full schedule I was able to get in and out in a reasonable time. Their customer service was top notch! The manager Andy Walker runs a great shop.

AA hasn't been able to fix my car issues the last 3 times I have been in. (even a vehicle inspection) To their credit, they are honest and they do good work but communication could be improved.

One of the best shops in town in my opinion. Knowledgeable, Honest, quick and willing to go beyond to help you resolve issues. I recommend this place to all my friends
