Took my car in to get front pads and rotors done. Nothing special, literally just to replace the pads and rotors. They asked if I wanted an inspection, I didn't, I just wanted them to do the pads and rotors. A mechanic took my keys, got in the car, then as I watched incredulously, turned out of the lot and slammed on the gas, speeding away. When they got back, they put the car up, took all four tires off, and I watched as it sat up there for 30 minutes before the guy at the desk told me that the piston was overextended, wasn't when I brought it in. Had to have been from their technician driving it like a madman. They could have just driven it around to the bay and started the work I asked them to perform. The man then tried to sell me on flushing the brake system, which is completely unnecessary. Then I watched as my car sat by in the bay for another 30 minutes before a technician slowly began working. They tried to do something I didn't ask them to do, then punished me when I was upset that they did it. Three and a half hours. For two pads and rotors. $300. I would avoid this. EDIT: my spouse and I brought our car in, the visit wasn't under my name. Arguing with customers is probably the best way to sound professional, huh? Read back through the responses the owner has to some of the reviews, he blames the customer for things that have gone wrong.
Jovan, I could not find your name in our system so obviously, you , are not our customer. we do thorough inspections for a reason, it benefits our customers and protects us from being blamed for items not found that later become an issue.
