Took my car over to Brake Specialist in Buda today and without an appointment they had car out in no time. Tom and the guys did a really great job and the repairs were affordable. Will be taking my car to them in the future.

I've taken both of my cars to this location. They are friendly, professional, and will shoot you straight on what's going on with your ride! I fully trust and recommend these folks to anybody looking for reliability and overall excellent customer service!

My search for a reasonable, trust worthy, and professional place to take my truck to for repairs, is OVER. I have an older truck, '96 Silverado, that's now over 270,000 miles and still purring. The customer service is the best I've come across EVER as far as car repairs go. Patrick and the mechanics there are top notch and if you are having trouble figuring out what a problem is, this is the place to go! And go to them FIRST, otherwise you'll spend a couple grand fixing and replacing parts you may not have to from other places taking advantage. If you're female, please note that these guys will NOT take advantage of that fact. I can not express enough how much I recommend these guys. I'll not take my vehicle anywhere else again!

Just stopped in this morning to get a brake job done, expecting the worse but ended up getting some of the best service I have ever had dealing with the automotive industry, that being said Patrick was more than helpful and willing to work with me on various facets of repairs and costs. I would highly recommend this rare find to anyone weary of finding a reputable brake repair shop. Will for sure be a return customer.

I have had 4 cars serviced repeatedly at this location. Customer services excellent. Quality of work is VERY good. They only fix what you want them to fix and they don't do the hard sell like the other guys - no pushing filters and wipers you don't need. They really work hard to get repairs done based on the severity of the problem and your budget for repairs. Their prices are fair and many times they have coupons at the corporate Web site that help. I have had an excellent experience!!!!

The Manager Mike was very honest and affordable. I had a very tough job (BMW Starter Replacement) - I was charged $54.00 by Firestone on Whitestone Blvd for them to look at it for 30 minutes and tell me it needed a starter replacement totaling $1.146.20. Mike and his crew finished the job perfectly for a quarter of that cost! I will surely go back to Brake Specialist on Research Blvd for my next repair.

Elite '2020 Elite '2020 After nagging my husband (yeah, I do that occasionally...okay a lot) for the last 6 months about his squeaky breaks (well, his truck's squeaky brakes) he finnnnaaallly took it into Brake Specialists Total Car Care. As suspected, his procrastination had caused more damage than brake pad replacement alone. The technician performed a thorough inspection (at no cost) and called my husband with the news. He offered two options: 1.) A complete rebuild on one side, and repair on the other (approx. $850) or 2.) A repair that would be adequate for about 30,000 miles (approx. $350). We've been vehicle shopping for about a year now, so we went with the "quick" fix. So, many thanks to BSTCC for saving us 500 bucks when you could have easily not offered us a less expensive alternative!!! What a pleasant surprise to have found an honest and knowledgeable auto repair center - and so close to home! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tip: Visit their website!
