This was a breath of fresh air after I had an appointment elsewhere that told me a brake job would be $80 (HA!) along with an added hour and a half wait after my scheduled time so I left that place and called these guys. Chris and Clay told me to come on in and pulled my car into a bay without any wait once I arrived. After taking a look they showed me a few issues my car had and gave me an exact amount of how much it would cost without any added "necessary work." They were not only fast getting the work done but super friendly and welcoming while my fiancé and I sat I the lobby. I would definitely recommend these guys with two thumbs up! Highly recommended! I had a transmission leak last night and called Clay at 7:30 am this morning to see if I could get someone to check it out. I was pressed for time and he said "come on in!" On the way in to the shop I lost pressure in transmission totally. Me, not knowing cars I thought my transmission went out. I pulled in to the shop parking lot, all bays full and folks dropping off their rides.. I thought oh great.. This is going to be forever and cost a fortune... Clay told me, go workout and I'll call you with an update.. An hour passed and clay was on the other line. He told me it was the cooler not the transmission. I had my truck fixed and on the road by 1pm.. You need help. Go see Clay! This place is fantastic, they were super helpful. I had water in my car from a bad sealing on my rear passenger door and they were able to fix the problem and were super informative. My car battery died on this rainy Austin morning. I live alone and didn't have anyone nearby to jump my car, and these folks drove up the road to my place to jump my car for me. Pretty awesome service, if you ask me! I go to these guys for all of my car repair needs and they have been great every time.

I just had the most amazing experience at this location. I was driving around this morning when the car next to me notified me that my brake light was out. I immediately assumed my Saturday was ruined, as every auto experience I have ever had has been a train wreck. I called Austin's Automotive Specialistss to see if they could save the day- and they did just that. They let me know that they could help without any hesitations so I brought my car in. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. They determined that my light had just fallen out and was not burnt out just yet. Upon further inspection they determined it would be best to replace it since it wasn't going to last much longer. The guy (I wish I asked his name!) replaced the light, put everything back in place and told me to have a great day. No charge! When I asked what it costs he told me nothing and just asked that I go there in the future. I will absolutely be going back to Austin's Automotive Specialistss for all my auto needs and would encourage anyone else to do the same.

I've been here twice now and the gentleman there have provided exceptional service every time. I went in the second time with a minor complaint and they resolved it in no time. I will definitely be taking my vehicles back to Austin's Automotive Specialists! Thanks y'all!

My Honda CRV had been making an awful noise and when I had brought it into another shop they said it was the CV joint and that they didn't have anyone to fix it at the time. We later brought the car into AAS. Clay introduced himself to us and welcomed us to the shop as it was our first time there. He was open and honest about what a CV joint might cost (between $250-300) but said he would look at the car and give us a call when he knew more. He called within the hour to let us know that it wasn't the CV joint but a loose part and fixed it for no cost. He now has a new lifelong customer. "Wow" is the word that sums up their staff at the Buda Location. I came in on a Friday evening because my brakes were grinding really bad. After taking a look at my car, Ryan explained to me what needed to be done, but unfortunately it was too close to closing time so they wouldn't be able to take care of the brakes until the next day. I felt a little panicky as I was freaked out about driving my car to work the next day, all the way in North Austin..... After I told Ryan about my commute, he asked Tom if he would stay late with him so my car could get taken care of. Ryan did not feel safe with me driving my car so far with the brakes in such poor condition. Not only did the guys stay late for me, but they were so nice and friendly while I was waiting for my car to get done! I needed my car inspected and an oil change, so they did both of these while waiting for the person getting new pads to come back from the store. Tom even printed out directions to the Tax Office so I could go get my registration done!!! The professionalism, customer service and genuine care for their clients truly puts them far above every other shop I have been to. Needless to say, I won't be going anywhere else for my car needs. First off let me state that I don't normally write reviews because quite frankly, as a business owner I don't have a whole lot of time. That is how impressed I was with Clay and his staff. I stopped in because of some vibration in my car I thought I needed and alignment but was very pressed for time. Clay squeezed me in to at least take a look at it and see what is the issue. Here is where he blew my mind... instead of just giving me a service I don't need and charging me for it. He told me what the real issue was and referred me to someone he knew and trusted to get the job done in the quickest and most cost effective way. That to me, says a lot about the organization top to bottom and why I appreciate local Austin companies like this one. Clay's understanding of what my needs are and what is important to me turned me from a just so happen to be in the area customer to a loyal customer for life.
