I'm furious with these guys! They failed my safety inspection for a leaky exhaust manifold and assured me I needed a new manifold. I trusted them and ordered a new manifold. The new part would take 2-3 days to arrive, so in the meantime I took it by another garage (for the heck of it), and it passed inspection!! First, I immediately got suspicious. Of course, I called to get my money back and after several trips to the garage, multiple phone calls, and high-pressure sales tactics by Andy it still took a week to get my money back! As if that isn't enough, they charged me $400 for the new manifold-the MOST expensive one I could find online was $150! I just feels like they're raising the inspection bar to make some more money. I'll never go there again.
Ryan I am sorry you were unhappy with our service. However your exhaust manifold is leaking and some shops that do state inspections do not take their job serious. a leaking manifold can let exhaust gasses into the passenger compartment for one and also cause burnt valves in your engine. neither of which is a good thing. If you want to make a complaint to the Texas Department of Public Safety, they can have a trooper verify weather or not the manifold is leaking and if not they will fine us. if it is leaking they will then pursue the shop that passed a vehicle that they should have failed.
