Austin's Best Choice for Auto Repair

Why go anywhere else? Clay and the staff are SUPERB! I would feel comfortable sending my wife in there without the fear of being overcharged or unnecessary repairs being pushed!

This has been our go-to mechanic shop for over a year and we've always received honest, transparent and quality service. There have been times where we have costly fixes to pay for and other times they'll call us and say, "I'd hold off on this fix, come get your car no charge." They sell you fixes you need, not ones that pad their pockets. Every time we bring one of our two cars here, we know we are getting a great deal because we aren't paying for things we don't need. We typically drop our cars off first thing Saturday and they call us with a report and estimate by noon or so, depending on the problem. Thanks guys! Tom rescued me! Sometimes the universe gives you a heads up before it craps all over your day... Not for me, not today. No, it'll let you start your car and let you go get your groceries. It's after you're done loading your groceries into your vehicle in 40F weather and you're ready to warm up that the universe goes, "Hm.. let's see if we can give her a little heart attack." Yeah, my car didn't start. I was freaking out. My closest friends live north of Austin so I called the only people that I could think of, Austin Automotive. I forgot who answered the phone, but they were so calm and nice that I instantly felt better just talking to them. Tom, the manager, came to my rescue and jumped my car. I read a few reviews on yelp about the integrity of this location and I decided to bring in my car to have my grinding brakes inspected. The front office was clean and didn't smell, I was provided a complimentary ride back to my office, the staff was professional and friendly, and they were thorough in helping me understand what the true problem was with my vehicle. The manager, Adam, even found a coupon online that knocked almost $100 off my service; you can tell he takes pride in his business. I will definitely be taking my cars here in the future and highly recommend to others in the area. Only ever been here for an inspection, but it was quick and painless. Nice waiting area with television and WiFi.

I cannot begin to say enough good things about Andy and the service that I've received from his team and him. They are honest, thorough, fast and fair. You should be comfortable taking your vehicle there and knowing you're not being scammed. He has serviced our 2010 Ford F150 and 2001 Toyota 4Runner.
