My check transmission light recently came on. Most places were closed and I pulled into Lakeway Austin Automotive. The manager, Jim, was still there along with one of his mechanics. My Honda only takes special “Honda” fluid which had to be ordered. Jim could have easily said they couldn’t help me until Monday. Instead, he searched for some of the Honda fluid in his store room and found two quarts left over from a previous job. It was enough fluid to get me on my way. I asked “how much do I owe you?” Jim replied no charge-we had the fluid sitting on our shelf. I’ve always heard this place gave excellent customer service—my experience is proof!
