Austin's Best Choice for Auto Repair

Knowing they would be busy, I arrived just as they opened and so they were able to squeeze me in without an appointment. Always friendly and knowledgeable service at the Buda Austin automotive specialists location

Good Job. The weather - it was raining, but the service was done well and quickly - especially so since there were other customers being served when I arrived and customers waiting for service in the lobby. Brakes worked fine as I was driving the car home. No problems. The price was not too bad either. They did what I asked them to do and the end product was very acceptable. I'll keep them in mind when my next maintenance job comes around.

This was on my way to work on a rainy day, I liked my service, very kind souls. I was out fast, and all i needed was my tire pressure check 🙂

Flushed my brake system

I went to another automotive service place on Main Street in Buda but their inspection machines and then their credit card machine were down. Went back and had to wait over an hour so I left and went to Austin Automotive Specialists in Buda. They were very friendly and in less than 30 minutes I was on my way. The only reason I gave them a 4 star rating instead of 5 is due to one of their staff not making sure my car hood was secured. I left and when I sped up my hood almost came loose. Next time I'll remind them to double check that the hood is completely locked down. I will return.

EDIT: What they wrote below is a fabrication. I asked them to figure out what was wrong with my car when I dropped it off. They called me a couple hours later and told me I needed a tune up and I believed them. They also didn’t bother to write my name correctly. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. I brought my car in and asked them to fix it. They said it would cost $360 to fix the issues I was having. I paid them and then later picked up my car. Check engine light comes back on and I’m still having the same issues. I understand that accidents happen, so I call them and they tell me to bring it back in a week. I bring it back and now they claim my oil is over filled and I need an oil change to fix the issues. So I pay them $80 for that. Same thing again, I pick up my car, check engine light comes back on, still having the same issues. It wasn’t easy for me to pay them all this. I had to do a lot of budgeting this month to be able to afford these repairs. Now I’m short $440 and my car still isn’t repaired.
