This place seems OK for basic maintenance (fluid changes, inspections, etc), but you should absolutely avoid them for any sort of repairs. For starters, they took a day longer than they initially told me it would take for them to look at my car when the only reason I went to them was because I needed the repair done quickly. To make matters worse, I had to call them to get updates despite the fact that I was supposed to get text messages that kept me in the loop. To make matters worse, they wanted more than $700 for a relatively simple repair. I ended up doing the repair myself for $100 in parts and 90 minutes of my own time. Essentially, all they did was charge me $100 to tell me the part I already expected was broken was, in fact, broken, all while I was without my car for nearly two days. For them to charge $700, they must be marking up parts by 100% or more and charging over $250 per hour for labor.

I would have to say that despite the circumstances that lead me there, my experience with Andy and the rest of the team was excellent! They were friendly, patient and kind. I felt they were honest thoughout and their prices more than fair! When I got my new car I knew just where to take it for a 90 point inspection. They have my buisness from now on! OUTSTANDING!!!!!! That is the best word I can come up with. The customer service at the Buda Austin Automotive Specialist is second to none. They have my car running better than it has since we bought it ten years ago. They listened to our issues, identified the problems, and found the LEAST expensive way to fix it! TRUSTWORTHY!!!!!!!! I usually worry about getting upsold and paying more for a repair for a simple item than I have to. NOT HERE!! Don't go here! I needed a simple oil change, they charged me close to $100. I've never been charged that much! While the service was fast, they tried to talk me into a lot of extra work that would be an additional 500 that day. I later had my truck checked by my dad who is a professional mechanic and nothing was wrong with my truck. They just wanted to charge me another 500. However, he did find a funnel they had used during the change lodged in one of the belts of my truck. Not only did they try to charge me for stuff that I didn't need, they almost cost me a lot more money in repairs because they were lazy and left tools in my truck. Never go here if you care at all about your vehicle!!!

OMG came in from out of state for a family funeral. Had some odd scary noise but didn't want to be late to funeral (already behind schedule bc of blowout in LA). Finally made it in to AAS in Round Rock TX about 2:30pm on Saturday. They determined problem and fixed it so could safely return to MS. Bless y'all!
