I really had a great experience with Mike and his staff at Austin Automotive Specialist! I came in quickly just to get a state inspection but came back with a lot more! They were so helpful in helping me understand ways I could get my car registered properly as well the maintenance care I might need in the future. He was so friendly and was also very informative. I stopped by because I somehow managed to let all the air out of a tire when I was trying to inflate it. They rescued me at no charge and were real gentlemen! I will be their client again! Hands down the best experience with auto service I've ever had. As someone who knows very little about cars, finding someone to trust with my car for repairs and maintenance has always been a challenge. After taking my 2007 Edge in for a repair in 2015, I knew my search was over. Clay has always been reliable and upfront about what my car needs. He's always greeted me with a smile and a handshake and is always a pleasure to talk to. He's very respectful and direct. He cuts through the BS and is always patient with my questions. And he takes the time to clearly explain anything I'm not familiar with, going as far as to Google a part to show me what he's talking about. He's earned my trust, and my business, for as long as he's running the shop!

An honest and reliable auto shop can sometimes be hard to find. I no longer look for one because I found the best at Austin's Automotive Specialist. They are fast and dependable. And they stand behind their work on those rare occasions everything doesn't go exactly right. If you want it done right for a fair price, this is where you go.

I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! I paid for a sensor to be put on my vehicle. ($340.00) My engine light never went off. They told me to dive like that for a while. Still never went off. They stated that there is nothing that they can do. You need to take it to the dealership. Well I did that and guess what. The original sensor & wires where still on the car. They NEVER replaced the part. When I call them about they hang up the phone or I get the run around. NEVER NEVER GO HERE!!! PEP BOYS is the BEST

I drove all the way from north of austin to this particular location because the service is just the best you can get ! I mean 35 traffic and all and I'm just absolutely astounded all for the service and everyone should know they are very prompt and fantastic I definitely recommend this location !!!! 75stars for austin automotive in buda!!!!
