This place was amazing! I’ve been having car trouble for the past few months and the car dealership were the car was purchased from (West Auto Sales. Ask for Tito and Nicole) have been giving me the run around telling me the car was perfectly fine which was obviously a lie. But at Austin Automotive Specialist they worked with me and were super friendly. As a female walking in there l didn’t feel like l was taken advantage of like in the aforementioned car dealership. l was treated like a regular person and it was something l greatly appreciated. They also have car service that they offer to their customers. And the driver (Shaun) was super sweet and kept up a conversation the whole drive and was super helpful. Ron, one of the service writers, broke down everything for me since l know very little about cars yet never talked down to me, never made me feel stupid or inadequate. 10 out 10 would recommend this place especially to females who feel intimidated going into any auto shop by themselves.

Everyone at the shop is always very nice and professional. I've been here a few times in the past couple months and Mike takes the time to really explain what is happening and what needs to be done.

Mike and his guys kept my aging Chevy Equinox alive far longer than fate or entropy would have preferred, and for a decent price. They were able to identify and repair a weird dashboard cluster issue that Pep Boys couldn't even identify, and Firestone said was unfixable. Solid dudes

Austin Automotive Specialists are true experts! Mike is especially knowledgeable and very good about explaining car issues in detail and how to resolve them. My brake light kept turning on and off, so I went to AAS for a check up. I used to go to a lube and wash place for all my car services, but when I found out that they forgot to tighten my rear brake bleeder when I went in last month for a brake flush and all the brake fluid leaked out, they lost me as a customer forever. They put my car and my life at risk because of this oversight, so never again. AAS has expert mechanics that will take care of all your car services without worrying if they did it correctly, so I strongly recommend them. I am now loyal to AAS for all my car needs.
