Very professional and respectful. The man behind the counter didn’t talk down to me when explaining the repairs that were recommended. Being a woman that meant a lot! I was given a print out of what needed to be done ASAP and what could wait. This is the second time I have had work done on my car and I won’t go anywhere else ever again!

I always use this particular location for my oil changes and general care. Always loved the service but this particular visit, I was a little disappointed that the team missed checking my tire pressure. It was the first miss since going here and I will continue to give this place my business. Overall, they are honest and straight forward and do great work. They will still get my five stars.

I just moved to Austin, so I needed a new mechanic. They got me in quickly, and I feel like they took goid care of my old Wrangler.

Not giving 5 stars because in the report they said the washer system was not spraying, I denied the service on this. When I picked up the car, I tried the washer system and the spray worked normally. Apart from that, I had a good service

I have used this location multiple times. The people who work here are all generally polite and nice. Using this location to get oil changes and brake pad changes done on my truck was nothing but a positive experiences, until recently. The issue that I had was I started having a grinding issue start last year (as a result of 4 wheel drive issue) that was causing the brake pad to rub the rotor on the front left driver side wheel. I brought it to Austin Automotive thinking that they would be able to help. They tried diagnosing the grinding, however seemed stumped as to what was causing the issue, so they suggest getting a brake pad replacement (as my pads were on warranty from getting them done there previously) and to have the 4x4 differential fluid flushed and replaced to see if that helps. After having both services performed and several bills later, the grinding still continued resulting in a trip to the dealership and then Dave's Ultimate Automotive, where they were finally able to resolve the issue. Now several months/a year later, my front rotors are having another grind noise while driving. I take it into Dave's again this week to find that the pads installed are in my mechanic's words "cheap brake pads that are not good for the OEM rotors and typically wear down faster than normal pads." I want to be clear I did not mention that I went to Austin Automotive so that was a blind comment based on his on evaluation. As well as being told that I will need new calipers and pins for the front wheel drive. I only leave this review as advice to Austin Automotive's Management, maybe don't suggest getting specific things done unless you are certain that it will have a positive result. I am not a mechanic or somewhat that is fluent in the workings of car. I take you opinion at face value so it felt pretty gross when those services were performed and then when I still had issues, I was told, nothing we can really do. I understand you are a business, but it left a bad taste in my mouth that I paid for services that ultimately did not lead to my vehicle no longer having the issues that it was.

I took my vehicle to Austin's Automotive Specialists because it was making a horrible grinding noise when driving at slow speeds. I had looked under the vehicle, in the wheel wells, under the hood, and I was unable to determine where it was coming from. They put my car on the lift an did a thorough examination. Less then 15 minutes later I was informed my vehicle was ready. Turns out I bent the right front skid plate by parking too close to a curb. The mechanic drilled a small hole in the skid plate and tied it back with a cable tie. Problem solved. The very best part was they performed this service free of charge. When was the last time anyone did anything for FREE? These guys are the cream of the crop! Do not hesitate to bring your vehicle here for service. They will definitely treat you right!

When I consider what makes a business excellent I think along the lines of was my experience pleasant, would I return, and lastly would I recommend them. My experience was great, from the first to the last interaction each was incredibly pleasant yet professional. I would absolutely return should I have the need. And lastly I would recommend this shop to my beloved grandmother. You can fake a lot of sentiments but the sort of trust this crew inspires is genuine and absolutely well deserved.
