Shoddy service and a manager who doesn’t take ownership for his mistakes.

DO NOT go here. We recently brought in our working and drivable car to get a part replaced. After we paid $1,400 for the part + labor, our car broke down once my husband left the store and was getting on 183. Luckily he didn't make it onto the highway or have our two young kids with him! Turns out they had done something incorrectly, had to fix the issue, and then all they offered was a free oil change for the hassle... no money back for the labor portion of the work they did for BREAKING our car down. Both the shop manager Forrest and the customer service agent said we were asking for "free money" after how much we paid. Unbelievable. We will NEVER be returning.

After I authorized a more involved solution to the issue at hand Austin Automotive performed a less expensive "fix" to the problem. Had an absolutely great experience at Austin automotive specialist. I worked with Melissa at the front desk. She is extremely knowledgeable and shows genuine care when it comes to your car needs. I brought my girlfriend’s car in for a same day alignment. After her car was done i mentioned some work I needed done on my car (brake fluid bleeding and coolant flush) as well as over all inspection. Melissa booked me in next day 7:30am. My car was ready by 10:30am that same morning. Service rates were extremely affordable and work performed was exceptional. I am not a local to Austin but if I was or am in the future, this is where I will be returning for my cars needs.
