While the front counter staff were nice enough I was disappointed to find out there are several shops in the area offering to apply the cost of diagnostics towards your repair. Wish I'd done my homework! I needed to find out which repairs were necessary to pass emissions test, after paying $128 was given a list of repairs plus a recommendation for another $128 test to find the source of my evap leak. I feel like they already knew this after my failed inspection, so I was sold an unnecessary diagnostic test. I am hesitant to spend any more money with them. Frustrating. *** In regards to the response that was posted, I received a call from apologetic manager who has offered to send me a refund in the form of a check, I am glad it was handled this way and hope he keeps his word and I do receive the refund as promised. It's okay to admit fault when an error has been made. It shows you are honest and worth doing business with again in the future.
I am sorry You were not happy with the service. Not all diagnostics can be waived. In your case you should not have been charged anything in the first place. You will be refunded in full.
