I had a terrible experience after I brought my car to another shop for an alignment on a lexus. After bringing it back 5 times and it still wasnt straight ,I went to Austin Automotive Specialist .I explained what had happened and that the other shop told me my alignment could only be fixed if I payed an extra 600 bucks.They looked at my car and made me aware of some things I need to address ,but did my alignment in less than 30 minutes and my car is driving like its new.I never realized how bad my alignment really was until the guys fixed it.It's not a difficult job to do on a car.but after going to Mieneke on Burnet rd. and dealing with unqualified people who did terrible work ,I now have a new appreciation for good mechanics.Austin Automotive Specialists did a great job and I will bring my car back in the future if something goes wrong.Im glad I found out about them.

Austin's Automotive Specialists are the BEST!! Four words sum them up; honest, friendly, excellent service! I say the same thing every time because the truth remains the truth, these guys are great and the ONLY ones I trust with my family's vehicles

They blatantly violate ADA law. I went in to get my wheels aligned. They refused service because my vehicle had adaptive equipment installed and said that they don't want the liability. Discrimination is discrimination, no matter the excuse. I went down the street to Firestone Auto Care, and they serviced the vehicle with no issues whatsoever. Austin Automotive Specialists had the necessary equipment to service my vehicle but chose not to because of what they said was risk of liability. My vehicle does not require any special equipment in order to have an alignment done. Which is why the very next shop I went had no problem working on my modified vehicle. Austin Automotive Specialists chose to turn me away for no reason other than being in a wheelchair. Furthermore, I left a review on their website and it never showed. My guess is they have control over which reviews are posted. So I wouldn't trust their reviews. And I know they did see it because shortly after my post they called me, not to make things better or apologize, but instead got on my case about leaving a negative review and kept saying I was lying.

Good people that I trust with my vehicles. I don't know how they compare with other shops because I'm not the type that's looking for the cheapest prices but I'm confident that their prices are fair from prior experiences with shops I've used in the past. I use them because I trust what they're telling me and I like their friendliness and professionalism.

Nice staff and great prices. I called everyone south of lady bird lake and north of Buda and could find better prices than them. I will come back for my future car services with confidence that they're not over pricing me.
