I went in to get my car checked for a head gasket leak test. The price was fair, the people were friendly and helpful. My complaint is the time it took. I had an appointment set at 0900, I arrive at 0857. I left, grabbed breakfast, and sat in the lobby, did some work on my laptop, and waited. Around 10/11, I was told due to how busy the shop was, my car won’t be done by 12 as planned. My car wasn’t pulled into the garage until around noon. The work was completed at 1302 (1:02 PM), and I walked out of the store at 1325 (1:25 PM ). What is the point of setting an appointment if the shop cannot honor the set time? I do appreciate the workers giving me a heads up that the work will take longer than expected. I don’t want to sound like a disgruntled customer, but I value my time. If I have an appointment at 0900, I expect my car in the garage before 1000. And done by 1030, this is a simple head gasket test that shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes. I didn’t want to get my hands dirty so i figured it would be quicker to go here instead. My advice to customers who are coming here, if you intended to wait in the lobby, bring a book or something to do/work on.
I apologize for the time it took. We do understand that peoples time is valuable. That is why we recommend our customers drop off their vehicles due to the uncertainty of repair times.
