The first experience with a tune-up was fairly decent. When setting up an appointment for a steering complication a couple months later, the first meeting went well. After two weeks waiting for a call about the part being ordered and to set up the appointment, the person I spoke to assured me that it was ordered and on the way and that the warranty company had been contacted and was ok’d to pay for the work. Two weeks after, I called again from not hearing anything, this time speaking to the manager directly, I was told that there was no record of any parts ordered or talks with the warranty company. He was unsure if one of his guys had actually ordered or not, then I was told that the part that needed to be fixed was different than what was initially diagnosed by the same shop. When I was told that it is normally a “dealer fix,” I opted to no longer give my time to this shop and instead took it to the dealer in the next week and it was fixed within 3 days for the initial diagnosis that was given to me by Austin Automotive Specialists.
We are sorry for any error on our part. When multiple people get involved mistakes unfortunately happen.
