I had a gridding sounds when I apply the brakes at the front right of my car. I called Austin's Automotive Specialists closet to my house. They said they were packed and wouldn't be able to fit me until next week. They were nice and suggested another location. So called the other location and they were able to fit me in that day. I dropped my car off and told them about the noise and the problem I was having. I was told I would get a phone call with my estimate. I never received a phone call but I got an email with the estimate to fix my gridding sound. It was $1000!!! What! The estimate was for a complete brake job. That wasn't what I was asking for. I picked my car up and brought it home. My husband took off my front tires and examined my brakes. There must of been some dirt or something because now I don't hear the gridding sound. Thank you to my husband.

They do good, honest auto work, busy so schedule an appointment.

I have a trip coming up out of state, and recently noticed that there was a panel under my car that was dragging on one side. I could see enough to tell it needed to be re-bolted, but there was no way to do it myself. I showed up this morning right at opening without an appointment and asked if they could help. They got me in immediately, fixed the issue, and I was on my way within 20 minutes. Everyone I interacted with was wonderful! I will absolutely be using them again for my future vehicle needs. Update: took the car in to my usual very trusted mechanic that ive been using for 10 years for a suspension Squeak. The mechanic said there were many issues with the car that were very obvious and obviously caused by an accident. I originally took my car Austin automotive for a buyers inspection and they told me that they couldn't even tell it had been in an accident and was in immaculate condition. Curiously enough, Austin Automotive didn't charge for the buyers inspection so I'm wondering if they even did it at all, or if maybe they made a deal with the shop next door that was selling the car. Hypothetically of course for legal reasons. Don't trust this place. Very quick buyers inspection. Took pictures of the heat spots on the roaters.
