I’ve waiting awhile to leave this review because I was so upset and angry. I’ve gone here for years. So did most of my family. Always had great service. However, this time I felt very cheated and got horrible service. My AC wasn’t working. I made an appointment and dropped my car off the night before. I hadn’t heard anything by 3 so I called. First I was told I didn’t drop my car off. I said I did and were it was parked and keys in the drop box. “Oh.” Was what I was told. And they wouldn’t get to it that day. Next day, I call at 2 to see what they say. Still hadn’t looked at it. Wes said I didn’t have an appointment so I had to wait. I told him what happened the day before. He didn’t care. The 3rd day there, they finally looked at it and gave me an estimate of $2800+. And they wouldn’t get the part till I paid $1900 for them to order the parts. The parts wouldn’t even get there till the following week. I told Wes, I needed my car and he said “so, it’s cold you don’t need AC.” Well it was warmer that weekend and I did need my AC. I took my car and found a place that had really good reviews. They looked at it and told me in 15 minutes what was needed. I got the high and low end estimate. High end was less than $1000. They ordered the part and it was fixed the next day. I showed them the estimate Austin Automotive Specialist gave me and they said I was being cheated. AAS lost my business and respect. The new place I found has my business.
