Austin's Best Choice for Auto Repair

I just moved here two weeks ago from out of state when a bunch of lights came on my dashboard. I posted to a Facebook group asking for recommendations of where to take it and I was told Austin’s Automotive was the best. After I picked up my oldest from school, I took it here and everyone was SO helpful. We got it fixed in less than 24 hours & with it being our only vehicle, I was so thankful. I highly recommend them myself now and will come back if we ever have more car issues!

I had a mechanic for years in another area of Austin. Moving to Lakeway, I tried a couple of places but was getting ridiculously high estimates. I was referred to Chris by a friend. Chris is friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly for me, HONEST! Happy to have found MY mechanic.

Chris (and Doug and everyone I've talked with) are very helpful and I appreciate that. I've had my old SUV in their shop a few times and 2 out of 4 times they've fixed the issue on the first try. The 3rd one was resolved on the second attempt and the 4th one is still unresolved (vehicle is 100% drivable, it's just a noise in the front suspension). When they figure out that 4th one out, I'll probably change my review to 5 stars.

Consistently great service - front desk guy (after hearing me complain about my horrible Nissan) gave me heads up on issues w certain makes/models of cars for when I’m ready to buy a new car which was greatly appreciated!!!
