Repair was fine, done quickly. But so far this is the only shop I've been to that charges a diagnostic fee, then doesn't credit that fee to the repair cost.

I took my car here last Tuesday, Wednesday I was told there were several things wrong and the repairs were going to cost around 3-4k and would take 5-7 business days to complete. Since the car was just purchased it was covered under the warranty and they managed to finish the job in two days! When I went to pick it up, I was so thankful because it was finished early, and when does that ever happen? Well the receipt of the work completed didn’t match what I was told on the phone and this work only cost a couple hundred bucks. Two days later my check engine light is back on. Don’t go here. Oh I forgot to mention that my car was spotless when I took it in and when I got it back the interior was filthy.

I was dealing with the man name Sam, and he explained to me about what was wrong with my car and they were on it, fixed it that same day. I was satisfied with the service and will go back to get my car worked on again.

Great people and do a great job! Definitely recommend them.

These guys are always awesome. They are knowledgeable and understanding that most people don't have sudden amount of ready cash and they will tell you this is what you need, this is what is highly recommended, and this is what can hold off. I feel that they are not the stereo typical mechanics and they don't talk down to you or try to "man talk" your auto needs, they will explain why something is needed. I do feel their prices might be a bit too expensive, but I really don't shop around too much, because one needs their vehicle and you're going to get hosed one way or another, place your money in quality or place your money in the cheap. And they will also shop around for you for cheaper prices on parts. I have had only one problem, but its difficult to know whose fault of that issue comes from (the age of my vehicle or bad part, or bad labor). Anyway, only two places I would recommend Austin Automotive in RR off 35 and the other place (but not advertising for them here). I don't even recommend other Austin Automotive places, just these guys.
