Great service and the where quick to replace the break pads on my car

A mechanic is not really a place that I wish to visit often, but the people working at Austin Automotive Specialists make me want to get more services than I need just because they are awesome. They have been honest, transparent with pricing, very communicative, and an absolute pleasure to work with, even when our prognosis was a catastrophic one for our car. They treated us with respect and empathy, and when we shopped for a replacement we did not hesitate to bring it to them to get it checked out before buying it, and the experience was just as good as the last. There will be maintenance and things we will always need, and I am looking forward for the AAS team to take care of us. A weird thing to say, because dentists and mechanics are usually a pain, but these guys are great, and I can't wait to stop by again!

I am very unhappy with the work they did on my car. They changed the brakes and did not adjust the tires properly. Today I had an accident. A tire came off while I was driving. It was one of the tires that they lowered so they could change the brakes.

This place is the best! I originally went to grease monkey in Buda for a standard oil change and cabin air filter. When grease monkey changed my cabin air filter they dumbed leaves in the blower and it was humming. Grease monkey couldn't figure it out but AUSTIN AUTOMOTIVE SPECIALISTS got me in and out and fixed it withing 30 minutes. I will only go here from now on. They were super understanding and addressed the issue in record time.

Austin Automotive in Lakeway never disappoints. They are thorough, honest, and never try to upsell or overcharge. I have trusted them with four of my vehicles over several years.

The service was excellent. That said the part prices are 3x the cost at Rock Auto and 2x O'Reilly s .... As a local Austin business there is certainly an opportunity to be even more competitive then the nationwide shops.
