Austin automotive does not care about cars . Despite several attempts to resolve one issue on a vehicle. They could not find the issue with said vehicle and had 1 guy in there who apparently knows what he’s doing but is never available. 1 star is being generous…

This is my go-to stop. Evreytime I come here they do great work and are super understanding and caring people. They understand costs can be high and will work with you to get your car fixed. If you got a problem in your vehicle but don't know how to fix it,this place will. And they'll do it right.

Melissa, Eddie, and the team have earned my family's trust over the years, and I simply won't take my cars anywhere else in Austin to be serviced. Just to prove the point, when I saw the check engine light on one of my vehicles last week, I paid AAA $70 over what was covered for towing just to get the car to this location. As always, they were quick, efficient, and courteous, and got me back on the road in no time. Can't recommend them enough!

Called for an estimate. The person on the line said it is "too hard. Too hard to give a ballpark estimate over the phone." - And that was that.

Hi J Daves. Thank you for the feedback and we apologize we were not able to give you an estimate over the phone. In many cases, what is thought to be the issue turns out to be something completely different once the vehicle is properly inspected. Sometimes it's a bigger issue, sometimes it's a much easier fix than you may have thought. So giving an estimate without seeing a vehicle to assess what's going on only sets false expectations at times. We are sorry if you took that as we weren't willing to service your vehicle, we could have been more clear on that. We'd love to perform a proper diagnostic test and get your vehicle fixed up if given the chance. Thank you.

I brought my car in because the oil warning light was on and I suspected there might be a leak. After paying for the diagnosis, they advised replacing the oil pan, which cost around $800, along with an oil change. However, a few weeks later, the warning light came back on. It seems the diagnosis was not thorough, as my issue remains unresolved. The only noticeable change is the reduction in my bank account balance, and unfortunately, not for the better.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Their negligence cause serious car problems and bodily injuries that they are not willing to be held accountable for either.
