Austin's Best Choice for Auto Repair

My vehicle had a belt break on it on Saturday around noon. I didn't think I would find any place to work on it the same day. I tried a few places and nobody was open. Austin Automotive Specialists was not only open, but able to get it in and repair it before they closed at 5:30! I was thrilled. And the manager, Clay, probably has the best customer service I have ever encountered at an auto repair shop. Thanks, Clay... I'll be back with all of vehicles as they need service and maintenance. Clay and the guys are very professional, honest, and compassionate. I made my appointment online the day before and they were quick to take a look at my car when I arrived. The $90 assessment fee is worth every penny considering they will not take your money if they didn't earn it & are upfront with all possible costs & scenarios. They had just turned away a guy who thought he should spend $140 to get an oil change on his new diesel truck but they knew it wasn't needed & didn't want to take his money for no reason. Honesty is admirable these days even more than ever because we are all getting too accustomed to being taken advantage of. God is blessing this business because of their integrity & thankful that my mom referred me to them!!!! Did a great job on my wife's hybrid. Fast, efficient, fairly priced, not a whole lot more you can ask for.

I've been to over to visit this shop twice in the last couple of months and if ever I need to repair my vehicle again, I will surely take it back to these guys. Clay was awesome and helped me locate the important issues and didn't try to over sell me on anything else. I truly felt like he wanted to both save me money and get my car fixed right. I felt like I was at an old fashioned mechanic shop that knew how to provide honest & fantastic customer service.

These guys took care of my '07 GTI when it threw a timing belt. They did a very good job on making run like new.

It's not easy to trust auto mechanics these days. It seems you have to frequent the auto shop like your local bar to earn their respect. From the first day I stepped into this establishment Paul has treated me with the respect of a regular repeat customer. There have been days when I've made appointments for service, and there have been days when my vehicle just goes rogue and I need emergency care. No matter what, I've gotten my vehicle back with the issues resolved. Another awesome attribute for this Austin Automotive Specialist is the fact that they will offer you a ride home, or back to work, while your car gets serviced... and also pick you up and bring you to retrieve your vehicle when it's ready. Now that's customer service.

I will never go back to this place!
