I've been here twice now and the gentleman there have provided exceptional service every time. I went in the second time with a minor complaint and they resolved it in no time. I will definitely be taking my vehicles back to Austin's Automotive Specialists! Thanks y'all!

These guys are actually there to help you. Andy, the manager, is at the front desk everyday and is honest about everything. They were willing to work with me and will not press for anything extra like other places. Convenient spot, awesome service.

My Honda CRV had been making an awful noise and when I had brought it into another shop they said it was the CV joint and that they didn't have anyone to fix it at the time. We later brought the car into AAS. Clay introduced himself to us and welcomed us to the shop as it was our first time there. He was open and honest about what a CV joint might cost (between $250-300) but said he would look at the car and give us a call when he knew more. He called within the hour to let us know that it wasn't the CV joint but a loose part and fixed it for no cost. He now has a new lifelong customer. "Wow" is the word that sums up their staff at the Buda Location. I came in on a Friday evening because my brakes were grinding really bad. After taking a look at my car, Ryan explained to me what needed to be done, but unfortunately it was too close to closing time so they wouldn't be able to take care of the brakes until the next day. I felt a little panicky as I was freaked out about driving my car to work the next day, all the way in North Austin..... After I told Ryan about my commute, he asked Tom if he would stay late with him so my car could get taken care of. Ryan did not feel safe with me driving my car so far with the brakes in such poor condition. Not only did the guys stay late for me, but they were so nice and friendly while I was waiting for my car to get done! I needed my car inspected and an oil change, so they did both of these while waiting for the person getting new pads to come back from the store. Tom even printed out directions to the Tax Office so I could go get my registration done!!! The professionalism, customer service and genuine care for their clients truly puts them far above every other shop I have been to. Needless to say, I won't be going anywhere else for my car needs. First off let me state that I don't normally write reviews because quite frankly, as a business owner I don't have a whole lot of time. That is how impressed I was with Clay and his staff. I stopped in because of some vibration in my car I thought I needed and alignment but was very pressed for time. Clay squeezed me in to at least take a look at it and see what is the issue. Here is where he blew my mind... instead of just giving me a service I don't need and charging me for it. He told me what the real issue was and referred me to someone he knew and trusted to get the job done in the quickest and most cost effective way. That to me, says a lot about the organization top to bottom and why I appreciate local Austin companies like this one. Clay's understanding of what my needs are and what is important to me turned me from a just so happen to be in the area customer to a loyal customer for life. Clay and the guys at Austin Automotive Specialists were all super friendly, honest and made me feel comfortable leaving our car in their care. Since I was able to just leave our car with them for a while, I didn't make an appointment, I just called one morning and asked if I could drop it off, and that worked out great. I discussed issues/concerns and what we wanted to have done, and they were able to look at it, and called me with a price within a few hours. I gave them the "go ahead" and they had it fixed and back to me the next morning. They didn't try to add on a bunch of other services or parts, and when I went to pick it up, the price was exactly what I was quoted over the phone. I also appreciated that they weren't condescending towards me because I'm female (you ladies out there know what I'm talking about!). I checked around on the price of the parts, and I felt like they were very competitive, and even way under what a lot of places would charge. I'm really glad they are getting such great reviews on here. It's a great reflection of what they offer. I called to make an appointment on March 4th. The appointment is supposed to be “next Friday”. So I came today (March 11th) but I was told I was put on March 18th. There are three staffs (I suspect if they are real mechanics) and all of them are hanging around doing nothing and so I asked if I can do it now. The staff at the desk told me there are several cars waiting and so I have to wait approximately 2 and a half hrs. Seriously? No one was working and I had to wait for 2 and a half hours? This place is a compeletely junk. If you want to waste tons of time waiting while no staffs are working, please go ahead.

Please do not go here especially if you are a women they will rip you off!! Service was fast but not worth the money and be prepared to be told any "package" prices and they will not give you what your car really need and do things without your permission. I called the manager to ask why all the things were done and he said that I need to take self responsibility for not asking for prices up front umm hello what does a basic oils change mean?! I would never recommend these these men to anyone that i know. NOt even a worst enemy. Disgusting save your money and time and go somewhere else please!! Disappointed isn't even the right words for me is disgusted and appalled by this type of behavior. Spend your money else way. Oh and even if you do submit a complaint be prepared to be called a liar and disrespected as a customer. If your into that you found the right place, to give away your money!!

Called this morning to get 2 new tires for my truck. Since they are 31", he had them, but had to go to his warehouse in south austin to pick them up and bring them back up to the shop. This was fine by me though as we scheduled an appointment for later in the day. Went in and was out in 30 minutes with 2 brand spankin new tires. Nice, easy, friendly service.
