These are my go-to guys; love 'em! They have done major work, always with great prices & quick turnaround. They have referred me to local places when needed (EG tires) & answered dummy question phone calls. Most importantly, they are HONEST! Thanks guys 😁

While I hated, hated, hated having to spend the large chunk of money I had to spend to get a used transmission in my truck-- these guys were awesome, truly. They had my truck about 3 weeks, while I 1- took time to decide WHAT Im going to do, 2- finding me a transmission that had the lowest miles on in for used, and 3- excellent customer service. They looked over my whole car to make sure it was "worth" replacing the tranny, and the assured me my engine was solid, however had a few minor things that needed fixing. Both items I already knew, so I knew these guys were far from scamming me. 3 weeks later and I drove away stoked to have my "newer" truck back!! She was dirty, lol, but she has a 50k tranny, a new radiator, an oil change and shes up and running. I barely made it TO them the day I dropped it off. They keep you in the loop, they are good on their timelines, and they sure as hell tried to find me the best prices for parts. This is my go to shop, no doubt!! I went in on Saturday the 4th of June and was lied to Mike Told me i needed new brakes and rotors he wants to charge me 800.00 dollars mine you i had just got them done not even 9 months ago. i paid the 70.00 and it was all a lie i have my brakes and rotors in the back of my truck there are still like new waiting for a manager above mike to call me back since Monday morning nothing in response I want them to explain to me whats wrong when there are still new. i paid 70.00 for the company to lie to me really and that's cause i used them before but it was Eddie and he was so sweet and fixed my ac last year with no issue. I guess because i was a female you could take advantage no you get less than a ZERO.

Hello Jenny, Mike recommended replacement of your rotors due to the their overall condition and run-out. reusing the rotors in the condition they are in would result in additional braking issues. We recommend proper repairs not patch jobs that in the long run would give us a reputation of doing poor quality work. As far as taking advantage of a female, that is offensive and a cliché. I give women more credit than that.

After trying four other places for an inspection I decided to try here. Amazingly they were able to get me in right away. The staff was very professional and courteous. The guy doing the test also asked if I had previously had the car tested elsewhere recently (which I had when it failed) to make sure I wasn't wasting money for another inspection. I do most of my repairs myself, but if I needed help this is one of the places I would consider.

Thanks James, we know our customers time is valuable.

Good service there fast only issue I had was had someone hit my car I asked if they could buff it out they just scuffed up the clear coating

Hello Andrew, we should not have offered to buff anything out. We are a repair facility not a paint and body shop. In our desire to help you we stepped out of our field of expertise. For that I am sorry.

I have been taking all of my cars here since 2007, and they have always done good work for a fair price, been completely open and honest, and given me good advice and quick service. They are best auto repair team I have ever found, and I have been having cars repaired and serviced for a long time.

Thank you for your kind words Charles, and thank you for allowing us to service your cars.

Our van overheated along 130 from Austin going to San Antonio. We got it to stop overheating just so we could drive it to nearest Walmart so we can buy coolant. We ended up in Walmart in Buda, Tx. We discovered a gushing leak and knew that we could not make it very far. My hubby google auto repair shops that were closeby. He found Austin Automotive Specialists, which had great reviews online, and it was great that they were open Saturday since it was early Saturday morning at 1230 am that we could go no further. We called our insurance company for tow truck to take us to their parking lot. They promptly opened their doors at 730 am. They got our van in, checked it, gave us estimate, ordered part, fixed it and we were on our way to San Antonio. The place was clean and well lit that we felt safe waiting in parking lot for 1 1/2 hours. The people were nice and efficient. Hopefully, we don't break down again but if we did in Buda area, we know where to go. Thank you.

Princesita, Thank you for your kind words. We have all broken down at one time or another and know the stress and anxiety it can cause. We are happy that we were able to get you up and going without to much delay.

This is my first & only stop for inspections, registration and anything else car-related-they are the best! As a female, I have had many car service places try to run up the bill on me, try to sell me items I don't need-you name it, but the guys at AAS will bend backwards to help and provide many solutions IF there is an issue. On my first visit for inspection, I didn't realize my insurance card was expired (card in car, not insurance itself). I was able to get a hold of my insurance carrier, but long story short-after multiple attempts at faxing, etc. I finally was able to get a current copy. There is no reason the guys had to be polite to me, but they were endlessly patient and even helped me figure out a potentially expensive issue with my car. Why are they my go to guys? Well, on my second visit, with my husband's car, I didn't realize the the insurance card in his car was expired.......

Thank you Aimee, for letting us service your cars. We know auto repair and service can be stressful and everyone has a choice of where to go for service, so we strive to do our best. Thank you again.

I always take my car for oil changes and any repairs. They kept my old (over 200,000 miles) SVU working and safe until I sold it so I brought my daughters car from Temple because I knew I could trust these guys to not take advantage of me. They took care of the vehicle and told me what needed to be done it the future but never once tried to "up sale" me to things I really didn't need right now. It is really nice to be able trust that you are not being taken advantage of - Thanks again to Tom for taking care of me.

Thank you for your confidence in us Diane. We strive daily to do our best to service our customers needs honestly and at a fair price.
