An honest repair shop. I brought my vehicle in to have the suspension diagnosed due to a clunking noise. They had a couple of mechanics drive my vehicle around to see if they could replicate the noise, but it didn't happen. So they invited me to drive around with one of the mechanics and I was able to replicate the noise going over a bump. While talking with the mechanic I really got the sense that he was knowledgeable, skilled, and cared a great deal about his craft. Upon returning to the shop he was able to find the source of the clunking noise within minutes. The exhaust pipe wasn't mounted securely and was hitting underneath the vehicle (when going over large bumps). The management at the front desk was very friendly in recommending needed maintenance, and didn't pressure me into getting any services. Their main priority was customer satisfaction, and they were very accommodating. I will be bringing my vehicle back here, and highly recommend Austin's Automotive Specialists to others.

It is such a relief to find an automotive shop that is honest and trustworthy. I’m a single mom who doesn’t know much about cars so I can easily be taken advantage of. Every time it’s time to take my vehicle in for maintenance or when the scary check engine light comes on, there is a sense of dread that comes over me because I know how difficult it is to find a mechanic who cares about doing the right thing. Last weekend, I took my car to Austin’s Automotive because my maintenance-required light came on. Melissa, the shop manager was so helpful and sweet. Plus, she is so knowledgeable about vehicles. Melissa got my car quickly checked into the shop and had the mechanics run a diagnostic on my car. They found that it was simply a sensor that needed to be reset. And they didn’t charge me anything for the diagnostic or the reset of my sensor. I was impressed by how professional and thorough they are. If you plan to take your car in, you should call Melissa to make an appointment first; obviously, they are busy since they are so good at what they do.
