Shout out to Mike Riley for taking the utmost care with me and my car! I have an older car (2003 Saturn Vue) that needs a lotta TLC and these guys give it just that and so much more! Every time I have brought my car in, they have been very kind and unlike all the other shops I've been, they don't try to sell me things I don't need! Always straight to the point, and they take the time to explain things so I can fully understand! I brought my truck here because Discount Tire destroyed a lug nut and wheel stud this past weekend. I made an appointment for 7:30 on Monday morning, and had a great experience. I showed up early at 7:20 am and, much to my delight, they were already open and helping customers. They were able to replace the wheel stud and do an alignment in less than an hour. Andy and Todd were both very courteous and professional. I will definitely be returning here in the future. I had my alternator go out on me Saturday night, I was able to get my car towed in Monday. From start to finish only took about 3-4 hours, and Clay was amazing. All of the staff was very friendly and I was treated as if they knew me for years. I never felt taken advantage of, or felt as if they were trying to upsell me. Being a minority female I always have that fear of technicians trying to take advantage of my situation, that was never the case here. They were fair on their pricing, quick with service and overall I had a great experience here. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. I would like to say "Thank you " to the manager Tom and his team. We started going here two years ago when we moved to Kyle and couldn't be more grateful for their customer services and honesty. As someone who has traveled all over the country in extremely high mileage vehicles we've seen more than our fair share of bad shops. WOW- Rolled into Austin Automotive Specialists with high hopes & They were exceeded. Just Prior to this- I had 2 bad experiences:1. At a dealership that didn't carry my Oil & 2. a place I had a coupon for that I almost died turning into their Parking lot- so full blocked driveway off highway!! Eric was very kind, professional, thorough, got me in & out (by making me an appt after my dr's appt) in 35 minutes & the best price in town- NO COUPON Necessary! They filled my tires, reset indicators, topped off everything & Used MOBIL1 which is the top recommended oil for My Honda!#NEWREPEATCUSTOMER- Go See Eric & Tell Him Kat sent you!! Tom is the manager here and this guy has a customer servants heart. On top of that he is a Military Veteran. This place employees good mechanics who like taking their skills at automotive service and repair and match it with customer care. The entire team works hard to get you fixed right the first time and get you down the road. I have yet to experience this team trying to Up sale some stuff you don't really need and neither has my wife. You may or may not find cheaper prices for an oil change or repair/ service, but if you do you run a big risk on the customer service and integrity being poor, at least in Buda and Kyle. And keep in mind that Factory Warranty work does not have to be performed by a dealership.
