Excellent service with the friendliest staff I've ever met at a service center. I go out of my way to go there for all general maintenance.

There has been a significant decline in the quality of this shop in the last couple years. They seem to be going the way of the national chain service shops. They try to up-sell you on inspections, services and replacements that your car does not need. They are bad at diagnosing problems and do shoddy work. There's no reason to use this location when you have Budget Lube and Lamb's nearby.

Good experience and would recommend it for your repair/service needs. Eric and Andy were knowledgeable and attentive. I felt like they were upfront and honest about the repair needs. I've been going to Austin Automotive Specialist for over Decade since named Brake Specialist Plus and every time I get impeccable service. Andrew The manager was once again excellent. I thought I was gonna fork out some serious money because my Brakes were sqeaking real bad. He said a pin had broken and was causing the noise. No charge! In and out in only an hour. Highly recommend this store

Quick affordable. They'll drive you home while you wait. I typically hang around they have wifi and tv and decent place to hang. Clay is wonderful! We've been 3 times now. We'll go again for sure. Friendly & knowledgeable with affordable prices, they fixed up my car to keep it going on this road trip. I'd visit here again if I am ever back in Austin.

Visited to have them take a look at my Civic and at first was very pleased. They were quick in diagnosing the problem and were polite. However, upon receiving an estimate for the repairs I was grossly disappointed when they attempted to charge me over $1,100 simply to replace my front struts (this type of repair typically costs $700 at the very most in my area). Though the employees were polite, I suspect they increased the prices on my estimate because I am a young woman who came alone. I will not be coming back and will instead find a mechanic willing to give me a fair and honest estimate.

I've had several occasions to have Andy and the team tend to my aging Maxima. This includes timing chain work, power steering, a wheel bearing, brakes, AC and apparently, a very sophisticated headlight replacement. More than once, the final price was less than the estimate and they beat dealer and chain prices consistently and considerably. Andy is always upfront in prioritizing and advising what really needs attention. I'm about to go back for an AC followup and really hope the dye indicates an O ring fix or something inexpensive like Andy and me are praying for. I'll be a repeat client no doubt, and recommend them to everyone I can.
