The worst customer service I have encountered, Took my Honda CRV because D Drive light flashed and went away. I wanted it diagnosed. When I told the guy, without even looking at the vehicles, he said it would need new transmission and gave me 4 grand estimate. I took it Hutto automotive to find that it was because I was a little low on transmission fluid. Edit on 6/26/2018 My CRV is still running despite what was diagnosed. They just top up transmission fluid and replaced D bulb in the dash.

I am sorry you had a poor experience. I have spoken to the person who you spoke with and have gotten the counter diagnostics to stop.

Nice frontdesk staff, but otherwise poor quality of work. Alignment took several hours, at first been told that rear of the car is not adjustable (incorrect), returned car with not aligned steering wheel, later started claiming that adjusting toe was screwing camber (it can't do that,) charged for adjusting camber/caster but did not tell me that camber bolts are not adjustable, so they adjusted caster only. Now after I would install adjustable bolts for camber whole alignment has to be done again, so I have to pay another $150 once more. Keep in mind Advanced Auto Parts were across the street - they just needed to tell to bring right part. I written that all off on very young and inexperienced mechanic who worked on the car, but nonetheless will never go to that place to do anything again.

Sorry for the time it took to do your alignment. things happen in busy shops like ours.

Got an Oil change with synthetic yesterday. $99.17 if you're interested. Ran an errand today and my son's flagged me down when I pulled into the garage. I was leaking oil everywhere. Huge puddle in my garage from where my truck was sitting. Restarted the engine and oil was pouring from the top of the filter. Pulled the filter cap and the O-ring was placed in the wrong area. Repositioned the O-ring and recapped the filter problem solved. Just sent my son out to pick-up 5-Quarts of synthetic [another $39] to see if that tops me up but right now the dip stick is barely registering. I'm just happy I didn't hit the road to go any distance. Now a huge mess to clean up. When you pay $100 for an oil change it would be nice if they at least checked the work before return the vehicle to the customer. And who the heck screws up an oil change!!!!

We are so sorry Rod. We will definitely be retraining our lube tech's.

This place seems OK for basic maintenance (fluid changes, inspections, etc), but you should absolutely avoid them for any sort of repairs. For starters, they took a day longer than they initially told me it would take for them to look at my car when the only reason I went to them was because I needed the repair done quickly. To make matters worse, I had to call them to get updates despite the fact that I was supposed to get text messages that kept me in the loop. To make matters worse, they wanted more than $700 for a relatively simple repair. I ended up doing the repair myself for $100 in parts and 90 minutes of my own time. Essentially, all they did was charge me $100 to tell me the part I already expected was broken was, in fact, broken, all while I was without my car for nearly two days. For them to charge $700, they must be marking up parts by 100% or more and charging over $250 per hour for labor.

Sorry you were unhappy Benjamin. Like any shop we don't assume a problem, we have to confirm it before repairs. The fact you can do some repairs on your own is great. For others who need the expertise of a master tech, it comes with a cost. We also do not go looking for the cheapest part because, the quality of one shops work is directly related to the quality of the parts used. A lifetime warranty part is of little good if you have to do the labor multiple times because of it.
