UNREAL! Seldom do I write reviews, but this guy and his service shop deserves the recognition in every way. This is the 3rd time I've been here and EVERY TIME there is the kindest, most truthful and sincere service I've ever experienced at a service center. Jerome (the gentleman up front), has undercut the competition on pricing and quality of work each and every time. . Especially as a woman, I never feel taken advantage of due to my lack of car knowledge. I've absolutely sworn that I wont' be visiting any other service center in Austin because this service is absolutely a rareity. So many sincere thanks and appreciation to Jerome and his team. Wow.

Thank you Tracee Jerome is a great guy who loves his customers!

A rip-off. $350 to read 3 warning lights, 2 of which I told them exactly what they were. A 'diagnosis report' that I could have got for free at O'Reilly's auto. And then a ridiculous estimate for fixing the issue. When I challenged the manager on it he told me they could do it for less. My question: why not give the realistic price to start with instead of trying to rip me off. He promised a detailed estimate would be e-mailed but still no sign a week later. Expensive lesson learned for me. Hopefully you don't have to learn the hard way like I did.

I am sorry you were not happy with the service or charges. The free code pull that parts stores or we do only tells you the problem system or area. It does not do the pinpoint testing needed to confirm what parts need replacement. That takes a skilled tech and the time to do it. That is what the charges are for.

The Shop had my car for more of October than I did, yet $2500 and a lot of frustration later, my issues persist. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a woman, or because they already have my money but I've been getting the run around. Long story short, head gasket related problem resulted in some $$$ work. Got the car back and engine light came back on, took it back to the shop, the reservoir was cracked (wasn't cracked before bringing it in) but they replaced it. Car was running hot again just a couple days later and I brought it in again. I suggested that they bleed the car because there could be air in the system, but after keeping it overnight I was informed it just needed the coolant topped off, funny, because I checked the coolant before bringing it in and it was fine. Now, car is running hot again, there is plenty of coolant in the tank. I'm disgusted. On one of the reviews I see that someone from the shop replied that they are always busy because the guys have such a good reputation. I would argue that they are always busy because dummies keep giving them business. Don't be a dummy like me. Update: in response to the owner reply below, suggesting that I haven’t maintained my car and that this is my fault, I would like to clarify that my car wasn’t overheating before I brought it into the shop. The only thing that is on me is bringing the car back for a 3rd time, thinking that I would have better results.

I can understand your frustration and I am sorry you are experiencing an ongoing issue with your car. Once a car overheats there can be ongoing issues related to the original overheating. That is why Preventive Maintenance is so important to prevent issue like this.
