Comfy waiting room, helpful team, and I get the most wanted thing from mechanics here = honest work. The free brake check is an honest inspection; no unicorns in the muffler or expensive fuel cleaning to past the time. Andy is leading a team that is truly setting the example on how car maintenance should be handled. The only small complaint I had is that when changing an air filter, one should probably wipe down the inside of the housing with a clean rag. HOWEVER, no labor was charged for the air filter, so I think that was fair/straightforward.

The fiance and I came in because we had coupons for half price oil changes. The manager was super helpful and didn't try to upsell us on anything. He recommended that I get a transmission and coolant flush but didn't push it. These were things I knew I had to get. He helped bring the price down and had my car ready in an hour. The waiting area is comfortable with lots of reading material. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.

I walked in and Eddie was super nice to me. He had his crew take care of my tires and I was on my way. I would definitely come back here in an instant. Fast, courteous, business.

I actually started my moring to go the the competition ( the worst place ever- Cottmans), that sits directly behind Brake Specialist. I only needed an oil change, and they turned me away, stating 2 hours was not enough time for them !! Seriously!! It turned out to be the best thing.. I went to Brake Specioalist and was greeted by Patrick witha great attitude and smile. The service is amazing. I have been back twice since then and recommend them to anyone... plus he doesnt try to scam you or make you buy uneccary things!! It makes you feel good to know you are dealing with a nice honest person!

I have 3 vehicles, (honda, chevy, nissan) and Andy's team is the best. My chevy had set for a long long time before I bought it and he has it purring like a kitten.

Needed a good place to fix my brakes quickly on my Honda Civic. Found this place via Yelp, and based on the good reviews, went by to talk to them. The place is near my house, which was a big bonus. To my surprise, they pulled my car right in, and within 15 minutes, had an estimate for me. Price was very fair, and the repairs were explained to me clearly. Even took me out to let me look at my car up close. Within an hour, I was on my way. Will be back, for sure!

Over the phone I was promised they could match any written quote and even though I didn't have a written one, they got within $10 of the street down the shop. The other shop had horrible reviews though so I wanted to try these guys out. Took a little longer than they said, but 2 1/2 hours for a rear brake job with new rotors on the Friday afternoon before Christmas, really hard to complain about that. They were helpful explaining everything and even though I was told my calipers needed replacing, they said they were in good condition. They could have just told me I needed them since I said it upfront, but even then he said they could rebuild calipers instead of totally replacing them. Love the service that saves me $.

Patrick (the shop manager) is incredibly friendly, honest and professional. Won't go anywhere else because they've saved me so much money vs the dealers! Thanks guys!

I was concerned when my daughter said she was going to bring her car to Brake Specialist Plus for a front end alignment. I have been going to an small independent aliment shop for 10 years and did not trust any one else. But she is her own person and I must say they did her fair. The only up sell they recommended was a tire rotation. They were fair and honest and did a great job. I guess I need to listen to my daughter more LOL

Cars are expensive. Worst of all, sometimes, repairs are close to the overall value of the car! The guys here understand this and give you as much info as needed so you can make a good decision. But, it's always hard to give 5-star rating, because it hurts to pay so much. I drive Hondas and they'll last forever if the correct care is given to them. My experience with Honda dealers have never been terrific (I was definitely miss led by First Honda Texas). These guys are easy, local-ish, and give straight forward advice. They cut corners when they can (in the good way) saving your money. The manager at this location is calm, helpful and knowledgable to anyone who walks in, good luck with your repairs!!
