I had my alternator go out on me Saturday night, I was able to get my car towed in Monday. From start to finish only took about 3-4 hours, and Clay was amazing. All of the staff was very friendly and I was treated as if they knew me for years. I never felt taken advantage of, or felt as if they were trying to upsell me. Being a minority female I always have that fear of technicians trying to take advantage of my situation, that was never the case here. They were fair on their pricing, quick with service and overall I had a great experience here. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. WOW- Rolled into Austin Automotive Specialists with high hopes & They were exceeded. Just Prior to this- I had 2 bad experiences:1. At a dealership that didn't carry my Oil & 2. a place I had a coupon for that I almost died turning into their Parking lot- so full blocked driveway off highway!! Tom is the manager here and this guy has a customer servants heart. On top of that he is a Military Veteran. This place employees good mechanics who like taking their skills at automotive service and repair and match it with customer care. The entire team works hard to get you fixed right the first time and get you down the road. I have yet to experience this team trying to Up sale some stuff you don't really need and neither has my wife. You may or may not find cheaper prices for an oil change or repair/ service, but if you do you run a big risk on the customer service and integrity being poor, at least in Buda and Kyle. And keep in mind that Factory Warranty work does not have to be performed by a dealership. Fair and honest, great team

Mike and the Automotive Specialist gang have taken very good care of me these past couple of weeks trying to get my jeep up to speed. I have been a total pain in the ass customer and they have shown nothing but patience and professionalism. They even continue to educate me on my various options and upcoming maintenance. I went here today for the first time and honestly wish I had found them sooner. I asked for a simple oil change and that's exactly what I got. That doesn't sound like much, but when you're used to being up-sold on everything from air filters to brake pads, it's refreshing to not get the full-court press put on you. The service was very friendly (wish I could remember his name) and I was out of there in less than 45 minutes. I highly recommend you give them a shot.
