Mike was a huge help! I went in desperately just before closing with what I though was an issue with my AC. Mike took a quick look and was able to tell me it was an issue with the blower motor. He was able to get it started for me and then he took the time to show me how to replace my cabin air filter. Definitely going to go back!

Great job on my 2004 VW Golf TDI. They evacuated and recharged my AC, and let me know another fault that I was able to fix on my own.

I took my car here in March for the first time. I was provided great service by andy, the manager. He was very helpful when something did go quite right with our repair and he made me feel like he really cared about what had happend and he took care of it right away. My car is driving great now and im very happy. I reccomend the place to anyone looking for a good honest shop.

I've taken my car here 4 or 5 times and I've always walked away happy. Fair prices and quick work, you'd be a fool to go anywhere else.

I couldn't more satisfied with my visit to Austin Automotive specialist. I had a weird sounds coming from what i had been told was my control arms from other auto places. Turns out it was a loose bolt that needed to be tightened from a previous repair! I will definitely be referring all my friends here from now on.

I had recently moved to the area and with my luck my AC compressor went out. I was google searching mechanics in the area and Austin Automotive came up. Now I tend to go by reviews when choosing a place, but when I saw these guys I had a great feeling from the start. Eric was so nice to me from the start and I told him everything I needed done and how I have my own parts so all I needed was labor. He gave me a fair quote and made sure nothing else was wrong with my car and he went to work on it. He kept me up date with phone calls and even told me that a part I had was wrong and needed to get it replaced and told me cost up front. I spend a little more than what I was planning, but having the service that I was given. I was more than happy paying a little more, specially knowing I'm in good hands. I would go back to these guys for any future repairs and would recommend them to anyone!!!

I’ve been bringing my vehicles to the Austin Automotive Specialists for the past 5 years. Once at their Palmer location (North Austin) and now twice to their William Cannon location (South Austin). They do great work and are always helpful, but my last trip was a little disheartening. While I don’t think their behavior merits less than 4 stars, it was frustrating that they did not keep in better contact with me regarding the work status of my vehicle. I had to call several times to get updates when I was told they would call me. I know shops get busy but try to be more diligent about calling back when you make a promise.

I found Austin Automotive Specialists on Google and gave them a call after my car had been sitting for 6 months and my brakes were grinding. Andy was polite and helpful, recommending they take a look as it could be minor. He booked me in quickly and they took a look for free, letting me know it was just rust and cleaned it off for me. They also did a once over on the whole car at my request and explained each action they recommended and printed out a quote for me. I appreciated their straightforward and friendly approach, and plan to use them as my primary mechanic!

Have been to the location twice, and both times they have been completely transparent and honest about my vehicle. I highly recommend bring your vehicle here to be serviced. Customer service is fantastic, and they do quality repairs.

Honestly, all I can say is Honest Shop. Recently moved back to Austin. A few codes were keeping my vehicle from passing inspection. 2 other shops wanted to charge me to take apart fuel system to diagnose. Luckily I stopped at Austins Auto for a 3rd opinion. Eric(great guy) told me to replace cap before physically taking apart vehicle. I checked back in with them to check codes on 3 separate days. They showed the same positive attitude/treatment each visit. In the end they did not charge me a dime, and my car passed inspection today. Can't thank Eric and the rest of the team enough for the honest/ethical treatment. I now have a trustworthy shop in Austin. I even recommended them to my mother. Thanks guys, keep up the great/honest work. Other shops can take some pointers from you guys.
