Took my wife's Nissan there after the dealership said she needed new brakes they gave it an honest evaluation that the brakes were fine

These guys are very professional, very friendly, and definitely helpful. Drove from dallas to Austin, battery light, and,and airbag lights came on my dash....and bam my car started slowing down. I already knew my alternator was out and was just able to make it into their parking lot. My car died on the spot. Right away I told them what was wrong and they didn't hesitate to get hands on and repair my car. They even drove me to the nearest parts store to get what i needed. Thanks a lot guys!!!

I went in for an oil change on an old car. All went well and people were nice. He explained everything before he did it. No overcharging. No rudeness.

This place was amazing! I’ve been having car trouble for the past few months and the car dealership were the car was purchased from (West Auto Sales. Ask for Tito and Nicole) have been giving me the run around telling me the car was perfectly fine which was obviously a lie. But at Austin Automotive Specialist they worked with me and were super friendly. As a female walking in there l didn’t feel like l was taken advantage of like in the aforementioned car dealership. l was treated like a regular person and it was something l greatly appreciated. They also have car service that they offer to their customers. And the driver (Shaun) was super sweet and kept up a conversation the whole drive and was super helpful. Ron, one of the service writers, broke down everything for me since l know very little about cars yet never talked down to me, never made me feel stupid or inadequate. 10 out 10 would recommend this place especially to females who feel intimidated going into any auto shop by themselves.

Everyone at the shop is always very nice and professional. I've been here a few times in the past couple months and Mike takes the time to really explain what is happening and what needs to be done.
