Clay is the man!! He is honest and provides excellent service. I've add the worst experience when it comes to auto shops!!!! Austin specialist doesn't rip you off or lie to you about what's wrong with your car. I will be recommending everyone I know to come here. Thanks Clay for your service and honesty I will be coming back for future service. May I add I'm not one to write reviews unless they are well deserved.

It's that balance of professionalism and honest friendliness. Clay at the front desk strikes me as the kind of person that chooses to have a good day. One of the best customer service people that I've ever seen. Went in for an oil change. Looking at the price of my cars oil and other people's reviews of similar oil changes, the price here seems to be good. Edit: I've been here twice more for oil changes. Second time, they suggested that I get my cabin air and engine air filters replaced. I usually do them myself, so I did. They were grey and gross. While searching for filters, I realized that the best total price available to me as a low volume consumer is very similar to what AAS offered to replace them for. I did get to know my car a bit better, but if I'm in a rush in the future, I won't feel guilty for having them replaced here. Third time, they found a screw in my rear left tire and directed me to tire repair specialist options (including free). Got it fixed that day and I definitely appreciate them for finding that. Every time I've visited, the wait has been shorter than I expect. I'll enjoy my short wait time for walk ins while it lasts, but I have not doubt that this place will grow to be extremely busy and deserve it.

I recently found Austin Automotive and highly recommend. Clay is wonderful. He is very personable, remembers customers by name and goes out of his way to make having your auto serviced as convenient as possible. I appreciate him explaining everything thoroughly, honestly and in terms that are easy to understand.

I have to say that this by far was the best experience I've ever had at a mechanic. I was in Austin for a track meet (I live roughly 4 hours away) and my car broke down. I have extended warranty coverage on my vehicle did a quick search and found this shop was not too far from where I was located. I calles them and right off Todd was very concerned and sympathetic. They were closing and we couldn't make it to them. But first thing the next morning we attempted to drive there and got so close but my car could not make it. I called them multiple times and they helped me out with finding a tow truck. Clay even went out of his way and came to us to take a look at what was going on. Unfortunately its my transmission but my car was towed to the shop and ita in good hands. They reassured me that they would start my claim, which they did. And we were able to make the track meet. They have stayed in contact with me the whole way and I can't thank them enough. If you're ever in Austin and your vehicle needs work. Check them out. Todd and Clay are great!

Hands down the best customer service thanks to Clay!!!!! Speaking from a woman's perspective...I have never experienced awesome service from an automotive facility. I live in corpus christi and my daughter lives in Austin. She had to have her vehicle towed to his shop and i am so fortunate that it was. Clay is one exceptionally special man that went above and beyond. He called me and kept me updated and made me feel that only my daughter's vehicle was top priority. Honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and efficient. Basically everything you want in a mechanic. I never hesitate to take my truck to these guys. And they helped me out with advice and a quick assessment, free of cost, when my previous vehicle got flooded. I love the fact that I can put my full confidence in them and not feel like I'll be taken advantage of.

Excellent and courteous service! I just moved to the area and needed a break job for my AWD BMW. My neighbors recommended this place, so I decided to give it a try. The customer service was great and the mechanics got the work got done very quickly and thoroughly. These mechanics seem very honest and didn't push any unnecessary services. I will definitely return the next time any of our vehicles needs to be fixed or serviced.

Clay is phenomenal. He is professional, gives great vehicular advice, and makes you feel comfortable because he cares. You just know he's going to the care of you. It's a great lil shop that's run by a stand up General Manager. 5 stars and 10/10 will recommend!
