My Funny Business detectors are usually on edge around mechanics, so from my first visit I was a bit skeptical (as everyone should be). However, they have repeatedly shown me they don’t play games. When they find an indication of a problem, they share their findings along with the problem so I can decide if it sounds legit and it matches things I’ve noticed. When my filter was clogged up, they pulled it out and showed me. At one point one of the mechanics asked to speak with me directly about an issue. He was friendly, but to the point, and logical. It was a great customer experience even from someone whose job description doesn’t include friendly customer interaction. I trust these folks. They’re a breath of fresh air!

I had just finished my Saturday teaching assignment at PHCC-TX in Buda, TX and noticed something hanging down from the front of my Toyota. I drove across the street to AUSTIN AUTOMOTIVE SPECIALIST. Without hesitation the tech climbed underneath the vehicle, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. I do not know of many places that will do this on a Saturday after 5:00. They get five stars from me!

Had my Subaru serviced for ac problems. The parts came in on time, their hours could accommodate my work schedule so I didn’t have to take time off, and the technician was incredibly knowledgeable and fast. I was quoted over an hour on the actual repair work, but it was done in 20 minutes. Also got tips on how to extend the life of my outback. Will definitely go back for future repairs and oil changes

Great customer service and car shop rarely occur in the same sentence. These guys break the mold. I am happy to have a shop of this caliber in Buda. The team is very quick and great at communicating. They had the chance to charge me the full diagnostic fee but were able to fix the problem in less time. Instead of pocketing the money they gave me a 50% discount. Thank you guys.

Top notch establishment. The staff were friendly, professional and efficient and didn't push to change filters etc. etc. after my vehicle inspection. I was very impressed. I think I'll get them to do my oil changes from now on.

Clay and his team is where i go to get my car looked at and worked on!! The last time I went somewhere else those people "broke" my dash. (They fixed the car but 'broke' The speedometer, odometer, and RPM meter, plus the break light and engine light we're on.) That shop told me that its because the car was old it probably just went out. I brought it to Clay and he fixed it. A long with my car's control arms.

This place is great! Clay is a great guy to work with! They have done alot of work on my truck and it's been great dealing with them. Would recommend!
