Dropped my car off to have some wires replaced that had shorted out. Told them I didn't want an inspection nor any other work done just replace the pigtail connection that went bad. Got a call 5 days later saying my car was ready, I arrive to pick it up and they tell me it won't run. I ask for my keys and go to look at The car to find that the wire was Not touched. I go inside and asked what I had just paid for and they told me they did an electrical inspection and that I needed more work done than the wire (I already knew this which is why I told them specifically to only replace the wire) They tell me they will get to it tomorrow, I then get a call 2 days later stating that they haven't gotten to my car yet and they just simply don't want to work on it. To Come pick it up. I was given a refund however I towed my car there and wasted 7 days having my only vehicle sit there doing nothing Between towing and uber for work I spent more than the cost of my refund... the employees were nice about the whole ordeal even through my frustration but I still feel this wasted week To be extremely unacceptable! took it to Excalibur off 183 and left same day with my car working for less than what they charged for an inspection
Mackenzie, you stated you replaced your alternator multiple times and had shorted wiring. I am sorry you are not happy, but we do not just do what a customer asks without seeing what were getting into. Once we looked into it, we knew why you didn't want anyone to inspect it. You wanted us to do a patch job. What you were asking us to do was not the proper or safe way to do the repair. We refuse to cut corners and do shoddy inferior work. When this happens we just pass on the job, like we did yours.
