This time I went in for my state inspection. I was s greeted by a friendly knowledgeable individual. They were quick and efficient. As I left they "hoped to see me next year".

Great place to get work done. I walked up with a pair of brake rotors to get turned/resurfaced at noon, and the professional and courteous rep processed my work order immediately and told me to give him a little time to complete the job. I thought he meant a day or two or three, but I was notified around 4:30 PM that same day that the rotors were finished and ready for pick up. The finish on the rotors was smooth and ready for installation.

I had a terrible experience after I brought my car to another shop for an alignment on a lexus. After bringing it back 5 times and it still wasnt straight ,I went to Austin Automotive Specialist .I explained what had happened and that the other shop told me my alignment could only be fixed if I payed an extra 600 bucks.They looked at my car and made me aware of some things I need to address ,but did my alignment in less than 30 minutes and my car is driving like its new.I never realized how bad my alignment really was until the guys fixed it.It's not a difficult job to do on a car.but after going to Mieneke on Burnet rd. and dealing with unqualified people who did terrible work ,I now have a new appreciation for good mechanics.Austin Automotive Specialists did a great job and I will bring my car back in the future if something goes wrong.Im glad I found out about them.
