I take my older Volvo here for inspection along with a plethora of other cars. They are always honest, always quick and always courteous. I'd suggest them for most needs if you are in south austin. Sorry guys north austin is Hai's territory and no one is better than Hai. But if you can't get there, go here. Period.

Initially I contacted via their website. They responded in a timely fashion but was not helpful. I sought out other shops in the area for headlight adjustment after installing a new assembly. I know they can be aligned in the back with the gear but I just couldn't get it right on my own. Believe it or not, all the shops in the Austin area gave me the run around about how they cannot adjust low beams on an assembly. This is a very serious issue since most of these shops are doing vehicle inspections, which go figure, proper headlight alignment is required by law so you don't blind somebody. State inspection shops are supposed to be able to do the alignment if they are off but nope nobody would do it. I was told to go to a body shop and then to a state inspections shop by almost everyone in town. Luckily I called this Austin Automotive Specialists after the initial web inquiry and other shops. Ron was very helpful, he told me to bring it in same day and they could look at it to see if they could adjust it. Took them 20-30 mins and they adjusted it. Even better they did it for free. I will definitely come back and do business at this location and I highly recommend, just call them first.

This place was first class. They were very efficient from the beginning of setting up an appointment. They sent me a reminder that an hour before my appointment. They greated me by my name as I walked through the door. They promptly notified me once the repairs were completed. I would highly recommend using this business for your auto mechanic needs.

As a woman it's sad that we still can't feel comfortable dropping my car off at a shop that makes us feel safe and respected.That wasn't the case here. Doug was extremely professional and showed an enormous amount of concern for my issues. He never once made me feel dumb or spoke down to me.He worked with me and communicated effectively on my problem and how to resolve it. I will now come here for any issues I need fixed. He also has this wholesome dad vibe that let's you know you're being taken care of.
