I had a very disappointing experience with Austin Automotive Specialists. I took my car in for a clicking noise in the engine, and they claimed the problem was related to the AC system, with the only way to fix it being a full replacement. I paid for the service, but my AC, which worked perfectly before, stopped functioning properly afterward. I returned to the shop 3 times after the initial service to get it fixed, and each time they have failed to resolve the issue they caused. Now I'm left without AC in 100+ degree weather. I’ve lost trust in their ability to provide competent service and won't be returning. Despite the frustration, I will say Blake and Anthony were kind and helpful throughout the process, but ultimately I just wanted my car fixed.

They were fast to find the problem and fixed it and the prices were good.

I had an obnoxious noise on the front right side of my car and I was nowhere close to home. These gentlemen took a look, figured out the issue which thankfully ended up being minor, and didn't even charge me for it! I insisted on tipping my mechanic but it was nowhere near what I'm sure they could've charged.. thanks yall, you have no idea how much it was appreciated!

My old car has required a lot of repairs lately and I appreciate that Austin Automotive does their best to diagnose the problem and perform repairs quickly. I would recommend them without hesitation. My one quip is that other mechanics credit the time/cost of investigation/diagnosis when you complete the repair with them. They did not. A small thing when I’ve stopped by on many occasions for advice and the team has been super helpful in keeping me on the road and planning for maintenance, but worth noting if you’re looking for a mechanic.
