Austin Automotive Specialists are hands down, my go-to automotive car servicing station. They are always super friendly, do a great job of explaining the whole process, and provide quality service. Clay is so knowledgeable and always makes sure I leave feeling confident and informed about what’s going on with my car! I recently had issues with my Toyota making a grinding sound. Took it to the dealership and they stated that the wrong brake pads were put on my car and causing it to grind or rub. They wanted to charge me over $600 for new brake pads. We returned to Austin Automotive Specialists as they were the ones who originally changed them. Clay went out of his way to order and install the brake pads the dealership claimed were the cause of my issue. Clay showed us that the brake pads they originally installed were really not that different and was not the reason for the grinding. But, that a indention in rotor was actually the cause. He did all of this to ensure that our car was leaving his shop in the best condition. Let's say that Clay solved my problem in one visit and the dealership 3 with no resolution. We will continue to bring our cars here for maintenance. They are the best.

Very prompt helpful and informative, like you would hope a good doctor's appointment would be. Obviously no intention of pushing unneeded services. I will return.

I always liked the location on William Cannon when I worked in Austin so I thought I would go to the one in Buda. The guy pulled up my oil change history and tried to give me $100 oil change for synthetic oil when my car did not have synthetic oil. I looked at the quote and stopped him from doing it!.... Kind of lowers your trust in a place when it feels like they try to pull one over on you. Probably will go somewhere else in the future
